The project entitled "For new professional and language skills to Saxony" is an effect of collaboration between the teachers of Zepol Szkol Energetycznych w Rzeszowie and the representatives of VITALIS Betreuungsgesellschaft für Modellprojekte mbH, a training company operating in Schkeuditz near Leipzig. The main objective of the project is looking for new forms of practical training for the students of Zespol Szkol Energetycznych w Rzeszowie, raising the school's attractiveness and developing the basic values of professional mobility. The project is planned for 60 students who are trained in the following professions: electrician technician, electronics technician as well as IT technician (4 years of study each). The project is aimed at students of grade III , who are17-18 years old. All participants will be strongly motivated to improve their skills as well as willing to gain new experience. The internship will be recognized as the compulsory 4 week practical training. The project should be implemented in 2 flows, years 2017-2018. Students taking part in the project will have a chance to gain new experience in IT, electrical engineering and electronics. The classes will be held in electrical and electronic workshops; the practical training for IT students will take place in IT labs and seminar rooms in Schkeuditz. Students will be able to improve their language skills, practice team work as well as acquire the rules of good work organization and planning skills. In their spare time the students will have a series of socio-cultural classes introducing them to German culture, traditions and customs. The planned trips to Berlin and Dresden will present contemporary Germany in an attractive way. Students will have the opportunity to learn about the work rganization of German companies through the planned study visits to such companies as BMW and Volkswagen. The promotion of the project in the local community will be a great opportunity to encourage students to choose technical fields of study, especially electrics, electronics and IT, which are becoming less popular among junior high school students. The results of the project can become a marketing tool for Zespol Szkol Energetycznych, raising its prestige on the educational map of Rzeszow.
