The beneficiary of the project "European Placement in the mechanical and electromechanical area for students with disabilities", is the Technology Special High School of "Beethoven" from Craiova. The Project aims to train by practice stages 25 participants with disabilities, as deaf or light and mild mental deficiency in the mechanical and electromechanical areas, in Italy, between 01.05-02.06.2017, to increase their chances of employment after graduation. The Receiving Partner - MASI COSTRUZIONE from Gioia Tauro has as main target the construction of machinery and equipment for agriculture, a sector in which it is Market Leader by exporting it’s products . The Participant Group will have two specializations since: -the 3-rd Year of Study, 6 students at the vocational school, specializing tinman in car workshops, 13 students-practice training-the 3-rd level of qualification, same specialization and 6 students from the XIII –th grade at the technology high school - upper cycle, specializing in electromechanical technician.The Mobility features of that participants they are going to be selected from the three classes are the following:-30% of them are young people with disabilities institutionalized by Dolj County Authority -60% of them come from rural families Indigent, mostly practicing subsistence agriculture-25% of all the students from the abvove mentioned three gradess are Roma ethnics, who are at risk of segregation.-100% of them have hearing disabilities or mild mental proved by certificates.Considering the diversity and unevenness of disability of 25 participants, they will be accompanied by four competent teachers experienced in teaching and special education, being certified as interprets in sign language.The Objectives:-To Develop Skills, practical skills in the vocational mechanic and electromechanic for 25 students with disabilities, by integrating them into the production process at the company MASI COSTRUZIONE in Italy-The Development of skill in Italian language for all the 25 participants by completing an online training module and the learning experience from internship for 5 weeks;-To Increase for all these participants the motivation to find a job on The European Market Labor and to participate in entrepreneurial initiatives and increase their self-esteem amid solving tasks, by making useful skills and self-esteem to positive performance probation.-The Personal Development of the 25 participants with disabilities-The Development of attendant teachers -To Promote a positive image about the usefulness of integrating disabled person skilled in their chosen profession, among employers and the local community-To Involve the Participants in cultural activities, leisure time, to promote: knowledge, socialization, adaptation to a new system of moral values, cration of an active citizenship, building a network of international contacts, develop a sense of European identity and citizenship.The Project activities: contracting, selection of participants, preparation of participants, dissemination and valorisation, achieving placement, the final report.The methodology will consist of effective management, assessment and continuous monitoring of all activities, transparency in spending budget, risk and safety procedures in case of participants with disabilities, achieve accurate and timely reporting, dissemination and valorisation of measurable indicators.Impact on participants: professional development in the field of mechanical and electromechanical, language, high level of self-confidence; the certification that provides confidence further in unlocking the potential of staff in the labor market, the opportunity to find a job in an EU country and to engage the receiving partner.The impact on school: strengthening the quality in terms of professional training and practice to students; increasing the percentage of graduate employability, the 4 accompanying teachers will develop their skills and abilities of project management and linguistic development of teaching aids for trening, evaluation, monitoring , they’ve used in stage.The local community will get an important benefit by trading companies involved in the mechanics and electromechanics which will feature 25 participants trained in the real, modern work.Dissemination will be done during and after the project to ensure continuity and transfer of good practice tools and methods used: website development, a Facebook Page, press conferences, banners, current information on educational structures, leaflets for people with disabilities and the trading agents, videos, promotional media, session dissemination in the local community for economic entities and other public institutions by using printed materials distribution.
