The beauty and the perfection of Bulgarian nature become a meeting point within the project "Mountain assistantс." Young people from Europe have joined their efforts at the foot of the Lozen mountain, guided by the desire to learn, communicate and help. Over 12 weeks, representatives of respected voluntary organizations from Bulgaria, Spain, Slovakia and Poland assisting to children and youth to learn valuable skills and to gain knowledge for healty way of living, to provide first aid, to natural disasters such as floods, fires etc.. A help and an assistance to the project have been proved by: Association of European Rover in Bulgaria; Fundació Catalunya Voluntària - Spain; A.D.E.L. - Association for Development, Education and Labour - Slovakia; Stowarzyszenie "Szansa dla Kazdego" - Poland. In the three most active tourist days of the week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), the young mountain assistants (spanish, luthenian, slovak na bulgarian volunteers) equipped with bicycles for quick movement helped the tourists to find the right way through Lozen mountain while acquire knowledge about the flora and fauna of Bulgaria. Within the project, guests from Europe were introduced to the Bulgarian traditions, language and culture, especially for them to organize intensive courses at Bulgarian language. The representatives of Bulgaria gained experience working in an international team of volunteers in the implementation of activities bike patrolling. Each of the mountain assistants, as well as guests at the eco-center in National Traing Center to the Bulgarian Red Cross acquired habits for life and outdoor sports and improved physical culture. With the implementation of the project the interest of Lozen mountain increases, which was resulted by multiple outdoor meetings, publications, social networks, a prepared electronic guide and improved marking and touristic infrastructure in the area. On a local and on a regional level, the project generated interest arising from the participation of foreigners interested in the beauty of nature and the desire to protect it and the very limited practice of knowledge and information to the community using bike patrolling. At a national and European scale, the project contributed to the promotion of voluntary values and it is a good role model and continuation.
