Starting date of the project: 14/07/2014 Length of the project: twelve months End of the project: 30/06/2015 Full legal name of the organization: Virgen del Rosario Identification: ES01 Spain Context of the school center: The school is settled in Fontellas, Navarra. It has got Infant and Primary education. Pupils can study till second Primary (first cycle of Primary education). Then, they move to a different centre. There are 8 teachers and 30 students in our institution. The linguistic plan of the school is plurilingual, that is, a combination of three languages (Castilian, English and Basque) in the communicative competence of a person through a relationship among them. The plurilingual programme consists on developing curricular contents of non linguistic areas in other languages through a content and language integrated learning. OBJECTIVES: Our main goal is ensuring a suitable teachers' training, in order to answer to the aims of the current Education. It means, education for multilingual children with language competence. Pupils who know the features of the English language and culture Another main objective is to integrate in the Strategic Development Plan of the school, the competencies and experiences acquired by the teachers who are members of the mobility plan. NUMBER AND TYPE/PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS Number: two participants Profile: - English Specialist teacher, 32 years old. With a degree in English studies, and a degree in C1 in this language. She has experience in Infant and Primary education within the linguistic model of English learning. - Infant specialist teacher, 40 years old, with a degree in Infant and English teaching, She has also a degree in B2 in the Languages School. DESCRIPTION OF UNDERTAKEN ACTIVITIES: - Refresher course in language and methodology: It is based on the English language practice and culture learning. - Content and language integrated learning course: It is based on learning the different strategies to learn the English language through contents of the different areas. RESULTS AND IMPACT ATTAINED. Related to the participant who wanted to improve her knowledges in English language, the impact was big, because she got an improvement in the different skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing. Moreover, she got a bigger knowledge in different aspects of the English culture. In the medium term, she could pass the exams of the Languages School successfully thanks to the mobility course. Thus, she could get the level that the Government of Navarra requests for teachers in multilingual schools. On the other hand, in the short term, the English teacher got a better kwnoledge of the features of the English pronunciation, and she could deal with the difficulties that a Spanish person can find in order to pronounce the English language. In the medium and long term, she could implement the methodology learned in the course. Furthermore, she could face cultural aspects of the English language.
