Picking up the youth enthusiasm
Date du début: 19 juin 2014, Date de fin: 18 déc. 2014 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The "Picking up the youth enthusiasm" is an international seminar gathering six youth workers per organization from Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. The inspiration for the project to come into existence was the urge of fight passivity of young people and their discouragement in the process of looking for a job that would be coherent with their needs, interests, and from which they derive satisfaction. Hence, the aim of the project is to increase the competence of youth workers in field of methods of activating young people employment. Due to continually increasing European unemployment rate, especially noticeable for young citizens, we see the necessity for the project, which will break the young people’s indifference and show them alternative opportunities. The project will be implemented as a seminar. Youth workers will discuss about the funds planned in the new EU financial perspective allocated for setting up new business by young people, their opportunities for work abroad and the methods aimed at mobilizing young people, raising their self-esteem and self-confidence, taking financial advantage of their skills and talents. During the seminar panels, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices. In addition, the evening meetings will take the form of workshops, when they will test the methods of youth activation and prepare the list of tips and suggestions for youth interested in working abroad. It will also be an excellent opportunity to discuss about future projects in which youth will participate. We believe that by organizing the seminar youth workers become a youth advisors in the field of professional use of available resources, skills and talents. We hope that this knowledge will be transferred to youth, who become more familiar with the culture and customs of the partner countries and become more active in the field of development their careers.
