The school's needs have been determined at Teacher Assemblies, meetings of the school's Quality Improvement Team and on the basis of self-evaluation and external evaluation questionnaires. Areas that we would like to focus on are: teaching quality and quality school, innovativity, pupil motivation, creativity of teachers and pupils, developing reading habit, ICT tools, classroom management, creating a more positive and encouraging classroom as well as school environment. Identified needs are part of our school development plan and in coherence with specific aims of the Erasmus+ programme as well.Following an extensive informing process about the Erasmus+ programme and the selection of available courses and job shadowing opportunities,12 colleagues expressed a strong interest in participation. Based on the selection criteria (compliance with the school's needs, motivation, language skills, professional development needs, developed organizational skills, readiness for team work) five teachers, the school librarian, the social pedagogue and the principal were chosen for the EU Team . Mobility activities cover a range of topics, such as creative foreign language methodology, teaching creativity in school, classroom management, teaching quality, developing reading habit, managing conflicts, prevention of verbal abuse, better cooperation with parents, participating in a job shadowing mobility both as an observer and teacher. All listed mobilities have been chosen because they match the school's needs as well as the participants' personal professional needs. We believe that the planned learning outcomes - innovative methods which focus on the student, designing teaching material, further development of ICT skills of both students and teachers, better communication among students in order to carry out projects successfully and to encourage peer teaching, enhancing reading culture - will result in stronger inner motivation, creative solutions and more successful pupils. Besides the former, expected outcomes for the teachers are increased working motivation, personal satisfaction thanks to a successfully conducted project and positive effects on themselves, their students, their institution and local community. A necessary precondition for reaching the listed aims is creating an enticing environment and effective classroom management, skillful organizing and conducting classroom activities and good communication in all directions (pupil-pupil, pupil-teacher, teacher-teacher, principal-all, school-parents).Project results will be disseminated on the local, regional and national level in the form of written reports, newspaper and magazine articles as well as virtual media and workshops (theory and practical examples). Project sustainability will be achieved through introducing new curricular activities, agreeing on new projects, continual exchange of ideas with other participants as a follow-up activity. We will also transfer acquired knowledge to colleagues in our and other schools. Some of the intellectual outputs will be new teaching materials, a booklet with a concise overview of acquired knowledge and tips (quality school, creativity enhancement exercises, games, peer teaching activities, classroom management, strategies for dealing with disruptive behaviour) and an online book of impressions about our mobility experiences. Furthermore, as part of the evaluation process we will create a mobility portfolio, questionnaires and action plans for implementing examples of good practices into everyday classroom work.Investing in professional and personal development is the path to a satisfied, self-confident and highly motivated member of staff who can transfer good examples and positivity onto other employees and pupils. As the name of the project says, with constant learning and development we aspire to create the best version of our school. In order to achieve that, we need the best of both worlds - ours and European.Approving this application will be of immense importance for our school because our already successful institution will finally get the highly desired European dimension. Participation in international courses will enable the EU Team to implement applicable European educational models and practices, as well as to create a stepping stone for all further professional development programmes and international projects.
