Périodes d'observation au sein d'organisations culturelles
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Les Éclats is an non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote contemporary dance in the Poitou-Charentes region (South-West of France). Les Éclats offers actions that, from their design and preparation to their realisation, integrate programmes for the education of the public to choreographic art within the territory. Today's world is changing: how do culture and arts play a part in this mutation? How can the cultural organisation Les Éclats innovate, experiment and offer new projects within the field of adult education at a local, national and international level, using its expertise in contemporary dance in this prospect? The mobility project will involve the organisation's three staff members (management, administration and secretary positions), for seven mobility activities. That is why Les Éclats wishes to set up four observation training placements in cultural organisations working in the adult education field : at the Balleteatro, in Porto and its surroundings, Portugal; at the Dublin Dance Festival, in Dublin, Ireland; at the Fabbrica Europa Foundation, in Florence and its surroundings, Italy; and in a cultural organisation (not yet determined) in Sofia, Bulgaria. For each mobility activity, a preparation phase will be initiated by Les Éclats, joined by the host partner. Then, the participants will do their training placements to explore the following areas: the host organisation's functioning, its activities in the adult education field, the context within which the partner works. Finally, an assessment will be made, involving the host partner as well. For Les Éclats, the aim of this project is to learn different ways of working, in order to improve its adult education programme, while also developing it at an international level. For the participants, the aim is to acquire skills in conceiving, managing and setting up cultural projects, to improve their English language competences, and to acquire a knowledge of the specific artistic and cultural features of the various countries involved. The project's expected impact is local, regional, but also national and international, since Les Éclats is involved in networks at all these levels. The potential longer term benefits are many. For Les Éclats, developing the participants' creativity in the setting up of cultural projects will enable the organisation to experiment and offer new actions in adult education locally, nationally and internationally. The participants will develop new competences, skills, attitudes and knowledge. For the general public, this project will provide a window on Europe, on the understanding of others and our differences.
