The Goar School is a private school which is located in Viladecans, a town in El Baix Llobregat. Foreign languages have priority in our school and this is reflected in the number of hours assigned to them,'especially to English, from kindergarten to secondary school: Kindergarten___5__ Primary ___4__ Secondary__4___We have approved the introduction of English as the vehicular language to teach the subject of Natural Sciences all throughout the four courses of Secondary Education and with Science for the Contemporary World throughout the eleventh grade. In the near future, we want English to be used to teach the subject of Environment at Elementary Education. Our school also would love to find European schools (preferably from Ireland, England or Northern Europe) interested in having an exchange with our students so that they can practice the English language.Our project Performing in English wants to be an axis, a bond of union between English and the other subjects that are part of our educational curriculum. It consists of small projects in English touching different themes to be developed from kindergarten to secondary school in the form of staging, in order to make"Drama" another subject within the center's educational plan so that to develop communicative competence in English and consolidate the knowledge acquired in this language.4 teachers will do courses in the city of London: Bárbara Carrasco Ruiz - Course: "English Communication Skills Throguh Dramma", LAMDA, London, from 25 July 2016 to 12 August same year. David Cruz Godia - Course: "Drama Studio London", in London, from 8 August to 19 August 2016. Sonia Esquirol Poyatos y Cristina Lacayo Vidal - Course "Drama Studio London", in Lodon, from 22 August to l 2 septtember 2016.Through the staging with real contexts, we want to achieve abilities that can implement and integrate all this knowledge, skills and attitudes, activating resources even though they sometimes are forgotten. This learning model is implemented considering that all learning must be meaningful and part of motivating activities.Our students will create projects to help them make sense of the world they live in and surrounds them. Some of the issues that will be dealt with are: The human body, our city, our environment, drugs, peace, etc. With the staging of certain topics, students will be involved in the possible changes that our society and human beings have to experience to keep improving.To carry out these projects, the TAC will be used, recordings of works will be made to upload them onto the blog of English, where videos will also be added as well as explanatory power points of their works. Thus, their self assessment will be possible and other people will have these experiences at their disposal. We will decorate the hall and corridors with murals of different topics. An English Festival will be created to present performances, songs, recitations, etc. Finally, we will coordinate with other schools in El Baix Llobregat to let them share our experiences and to exchange them with their own. Performing in English triggers a collective learning, new knowledge acquired by anyone involved in this experience. It will change the dynamics of our school by making our students study new contents from different subjects through English; and the results will be seen in our immediate reality with promotions of students, at the end of their compulsory education, who will have internalized the right skills for them to take actions in their present world, with a vision of future and progress.Through this method of learning, the school seeks to awaken in our students an interest in the performing arts from an early age to motivate enthusiasm among teenagers, to whom the idea of creating a theater group may become a dazzling ideato perform plays in English with topics that may fascinate them and make them aware of the pleasure of learning this language. Finally, the competition of plays in English carried out by teenagers from different schools will be promoted."Performing in English" wants to lay the foundation of a theatrical activity in English in our town, where adolescents will be the main characters of stories that will reflect their life and hopes of their own current reality.
