Youth centre Bistrica ob Sotli is organizing bilateral youth exchange »Pehar pogruntavL?Ĕin« /»A basket ful of bright ideas«Between 17th and 24th August 2012 20 young people (aged 18 to 25 years) from Slovenia (MDBS) and Croatia (GOKUL) will gain valuable experience of living in harmony with nature. This also means a vital life experience in harmony with fellow human beings when living in the community. The project will raise awareness and encourage young people to participate in the activities that provide an environmentally friendly way of living and behaviour and thus contribute to sustainable development.Participants will meet the environmental challenges and develop green skills through various methods such as discussions, visits to the ecological farms, one-day-work on farms, workshops on learning about medicinal herbs and wild foods, creating natural products (creams, oils, soaps), and finally, a two-day survival experience.We will encourage creativity and innovation with guided video journalism and creative workshops we also encourage young people to be creative with their ideas on raising awareness about environmental issues. We wish to create an enjoyable intercultural dialogue and lay a solid foundation of further cooperation with cross-border partnership.
