Peercing for inclusion. Racing emloyability and entreneurship through peer-education (P-INCL)
Date du début: 17 févr. 2010,

Peercing for InclusionIn today's European societies the inclusion of at-risk youth is a top priority, yet it is experienced as very difficult to achieve. According to experiences accumulated in the non-formal educational domain, if young people take responsibility for their own learning out of their own initiative, then the results are tangible and immediate. This training uses the method of peer education to achieve the aim of empowering youth workers and young people to participate more in society. We use a specific educational approach to train participants in increasing the employability of young people with fewer opportunities, by using peers as role models for innovation and creativity. The outcome will be an increase in the knowledge of youth workers on how to involve their youth in peer-learning programmes that have at their focus skills-teaching, risk-taking, entrepreneurship, and participation in long-term voluntary programmes, such as European Volunteer Service (EVS).
