TERMINÉ
Střední zdravotnická škola, Frýdek-Místek, is the project submitter and coordinator.12 pupils of the 3rd year of social care and medical assistant will be involved in the Mobility of professional education and preparation in 2017. In 2018, the number will be the same. The Mobilities are organised in facilities for senior citizens. We want to continue our 6-year cooperation with German partner schools and to develop it. The new objective of the project is to focus on the issues of the growing number of people with dementia and ageing of the population in the Czech Republic and abroad and on the specific care for these clients in retirement homes in Germany. The findings will be included in our school educational programs of both the fields. We think that the incorporation and recognition of learning outcomes in the ECVET system is crucial. We think ECVET and the new findings in specific care for seniors and people with dementia is the way to increase the goodwill and attractiveness for the future pupils.A crucial objective is to increase the number of participants from both the fields during 2017.Another objective is to obtain and extend professional and general skills. Thus we will achieve easier and better comparability and compatibility of qualifications between our fields of study at the international level, which leads us to the mutual recognition of learning outcomes. The new experience, knowledge and skills can enhance the chance for pupils to succeed in the labour market and to increase their competitiveness. To motivate the participants and to reach our objectives more easily, the participants are prepared to talk and work with German pupils. They cooperate with their German colleagues before leaving within the Mobility of German pupils who carry out their monthly practical training in the Czech Republic. These activities support language skills a lot and they increase motivation. The German pupils present country specifics to our pupils before they leave. Our pupils perform the role of guides for German pupils. Pupils at our school are motivated by the international cooperation from the 1st year. The opportunity to take part in the practical training increases their desire for better study results and it leads them to more intensive studying of the foreign language. This is one of the ways of drop-out prevention. The pupils prepare videos and presentations for e-Twinning.In Mobility, participants will be divided into 2 groups in 2 areas of Lower Saxony. As some of the pupils are not adult, each group will be accompanied by one accompanying person during the Mobility period. The placements will be carried out in 3 towns of Lower Saxony, in social care facilities and in retirement homes. This placement will take 3 weeks. We rely on our experience that the partner schools work with us in all Mobilities for pupils very well. They work with us on the program preparation. The partner schools also focus on the implementation of ECVET in international and national activities. They are our partners for discussions on the future extensive cooperation in ECVET. The Mobility for our pupils will include not only the placement in practical training facilities, but also the participation of pupils in classes at the partner schools. They will be supported by German pupils, contact persons from the facilities and from the partner German schools and one accompanying person. Through their talking and discussions, they will assess the course of Mobility and their achievements. We will also verify our redesigned and specifically focused learning outcomes in ECVET. In addition to the professional aspects of Mobility, the program will be focused on exploring the regions. The Mobility participants will include their findings in the Practical Training Log (“portfolio”) and they will record the fulfilment of their results and learning outcomes (ECVET) according to preset criteria.Having completed the Mobility, the pupils will obtain the Europass Mobility, i.e. a European document, where all data on work experience from the past Mobility will be recorded. They will also receive the evaluation of their learning outcomes within ECVET.As for the field of social care, the placement of the participants will be included and recognised in the practical training of pupils, which is compulsory according to the school educational program in the third year of studies and in the subject Care. As for the field of medical assistant, the findings will be recognised and included included in the subject nursing and care for patients. With our German colleagues,we regularly execute reciprocal exchanges of pupils at our school; the pupils attend classes and practical training in the facilities. In these activities, we see a natural way to deepen our cooperation. After the completion of Mobility, the participants will present their findings and experience to their parents, schoolmates, teachers and the staff of facilities.
