The goal of the Pay it Forward project for the 4 European country (Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary) is to make their youngsters self-conscious about the importance of their responsibilities on different platforms and levels (individual, social and global). We experience it daily, that tyoung people we work with have difficulties in making decisions responsibly, to recognize their role and possibilities in the democratic processes they are affected by. The main goal of the project is making the participants active citizens, furthermore to help them recognize their own responsibilities, role and power; and to improve their skills connected: initiative, social and citizens competences, in order to make them able to control their own lifes and also bring positive differences in their environment both narrow and wide. The project was preceded by youth exchanges accomplished together with the actual partners in the Czech Republic, where the participants claimed further work together and the theme of the present youth exchange outlined. With our project we primarily want to reach the youngsters and volunteers of the partners. All of them has important role in their region in the field of youth work. Mainly we choose youngsters who are taking part in the activities of the organizations and the willingness to take part in the whole project. We involve 2 participants per partner who are disadvantaged, this is guaranteed by the high number of reached teenagers and the profile of the partners (e.g. working with migrant youngsters, involving youngsters from isolated villages). Furthermore we privilege the candidates who didn’t take part in former youth exchanges. The project can be split in 3 parts. In the preparations the partners chooses their participants by the previously agreed aspects, then they make at least preparative meetings. The goals of these are team building, lingual preparation, informations about the exchange and Youthpass. Also the nations have to prepare some tasks before the exchange:organize workshops (primarily the grou leaders); furthermore they prepare for national evenings with special games, music, food or any specialties. The exchange will be held int he second part, which takes 8 days, and can be split in 2 further halves. Int he first half the participants attend on workshops in connection with the main theme (decisions, team work, responsibility individually, locally and globally); in the second half they use these workshops to make an offline and an online campaign on social responsibility, which aims primarily the teenagers. They will make poster, video, organize flashmob based on their on ideas and the discussions with teenagers made in a field trip during the exchange. These will be introduced to the audience in the end of the exchange (mainly to young people, teachers and the media) along with the flashmob. Later these will be available on the internet on a Facebook page made together, and also every partner will show it on their Facebook pages, and if possible on their websites. The third part of the project is the closure and dissemination. The youngsters will show the results of the exchange in their home countries, cities, and they will organize actions for the youngsters there on social responsibility. The project will be evaluated on more levels (participants, group leaders and organizations). We expect that the participants have cleaner image on their possibilities, and they will be able to take them to make differences in their own environments, possibly as an initiator and they will become more active citizens. After the project the participants can decide more responsibly. With the improvement of their self-consciousness and key competences their initiative competence will be better. Making the campaign is a serious experience, which can be used on more stages later.
