Project "Pathways into independence" is set to continue and to upgrade the way of our organization. It connects the various youth groups and different generations. Participation in the daily activities in our organization, to create a cultural program and the proper functioning of the emphasis on the ideas and concepts of youth. The active participation of volunteers from the local environment, together with the European service volunteers can bring increased value of the local cultural life. Our project is in addition to nicer cultural life focuses on volunteers as individuals. Together with the appropriate methods we will discover the desire and potential career choices of our volunteers. After the discovery of the true interests and orientation we can together, in cooperation with the local community focus on competence development and acquisition of skills required for the labor market. The whole process of active engagement in the work of the organization and discovery of their potential would lead to greater participation of not only our volunteers but also young people who come into contact with them. Mutual cooperation will increase tolerance and expand dimension of intercultural dialogue. Acceptance of diversity, acceptance of self and others without prejudices would lead to greater social inclusion of young people who are still stuck somewhere in the place and time. We will host two volunteers, one from Germany and one from Macedonia. Volunteer will be culturally open, preferably with a desire to create their own musical projects since our organization offers the possibility to exercise instruments, to be musical creative. In the Youth center Postojna daily comes young people who organized themselves in music group and set up their own bands. The project will last 20 months, with a view that new volunteer get to know our current volunteer, and with that broaden their cultural horizons. Their daily activity will be conducted in a manner that will actively participate in creating a cultural program and with that make an effect on the local community. Because it will also strengthen the view that it is not wrong to be different, that cultural diversity is interesting and fun. In addition of assistance in organizing and learning about the preparation of cultural events, exhibitions, children's workshops and large festivals, they will create their own project. Separate project, together with methods of informal learning also carried out, this will also increase their sense of initiative. The aim of the project is to promote their own personal growth, overcome social exclusion and enable the creation of professional, social and cultural identity. During voluntary service they will be once a week evaluation and meetings with the coordinator. They will be in addition of the daily work and guidance for the activities. As part of its service volunteer will together with our help spread positive view and benefits of volunteering as part of European Voluntary Service. We will bring closer Erasmus + and its positive effects on personal and professional life to local youth and wider through various media (local TV and radio as your own blog, website).
