Pathway from EQAVET to NQAVET
Date du début: 1 nov. 2013,

The reasonConsidering that all of the elaborated quality models within the LLP until now have been developed based on CQAF and later EQAVET, the promoters find it difficult to find enough national legitimacy for the result. Since quality issue by provider is also used as argument for accountability for efficient management, they tend to rely on so-called recognised quality certificates like ISO, TQM, or likewise. Given that EU-projects on VET Quality are addressing for providers, important issue, they fail to get a wider audience among providers since their NQAVET lack synchronisation with EQAVET. In order to remove this barrier, national agencies have to develop guidelines for QA in VET with reference to EQAVET. This is also expressed in the Vision and Focus for the EQAVET for 2013-2015.Description of the outputs Considering that the goal of the project is to increase transparency in European VET by enhancing development of National Quality recommendations for VET-provider based on EQAVET, the output will be:1. National recommendations on Quality in VET based on EQAVET in 4 pilot EU countries by national and regional authorities 2. Recommendation for VET authorities (national/regional) in other member states based on experiences from above pilots for supporting them in their effort for inclusion of EQAVET in their NQAVETThe impact envisagedBy developing national or regional guidelines based on EQAVET in member state, we create a legitimate environment for results developed by QA-projects within LLP-program. Such pilot will lead to following impact: QA will be used for other aspects then only accountability for public funds such as staff development, stakeholder cooperation and many other issues that have been address by the 39 best practices chosen by EQAVET network  Common European approach on QA will promote transparency and enhance mobility  Using the same framework for QA, we create more space for cooperation between providers across EU.
