"Passion in Action" is a mobility project for youth workers. The main problem that we are addressing is the fact that the methods and tools used by youth workers have a small contribution to the young people professional development and insertion in the labour market. Within this general context the aim of our project is: Training and empowering youth workers to become multipliers of holistic education in order to increase young people’s employment chances. To reach our aim we planned four goals: 1. To improve transversal and specific competencies of 22 youth workers from 7 countries and enable them to create and deliver quality non-formal education for young people, during the project period. 2. To empower 22 youth workers to become aware of their personal power and develop it, during the project period, in order to produce positive change in the society.. 3. To encourage active social participation and engagement in the fight against youth unemployment of 22 youth workers from 7 countries, during the project period. 4. To build and reinforce entrepreneurial skills of 22 youth workers from 7 countries in order to strengthen their positions in the labor market, during the project period. Our project involves 7 partners from Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy and Poland. The main topics we address in our project are Labour market issues, career guidance / youth unemployment, Entrepreneurial learning - entrepreneurship education and Health and wellbeing. The project is implemented during 8 months, from June 2014 to February 2015 and the main activity, the training course is between 10-17 October 2014, in Rametea Mare, a village close to Timisoara. Participants will be 22 professional youth workers, youth leaders, mentors, project coordinators, volunteer coordinators, volunteers willing to begin a career in youth work, teachers from formal education institutions. The training will be delivered by 3 experienced international trainers and 2 support persons will take care of the logistics and visibility. The training course has a complex program based on a holistic approach. We will focus our program on developing the four human dimensions: body, mind, heart and spirit. The main activity is a training process that begins with group development activities. Then it continues with personal development activities through which the participants will experiment and understand the concept and the principles of holistic education. The first part of the training is based on personal development, self-confidence, self-discovery, healthy behaviors and so on. After the personal process we will focus on the professional side. The participants will develop entrepreneurial skills, will discuss about economical concepts, we will experience why is important to be an entrepreneur, and we will increase our financial education. The participants will then create a Business Model for their organizations. In the fifth day of the training we will organize Agora of Organization, an event through which the participants will meet and share good practices with more than 30 local organizations. The methodology is based on non-formal education principles. We will do team building games, get to know each other activities, facilitated discussions, outdoor exercises, nature exploration, simulations, debates, brainstormings, reflection session. All these activities will demand the full participation of all the participants. Our project will impact the participants, the partner organizations and the target groups. The participants will have specific competencies from the field of holistic education, they will have a better position on the labour market and they will organize their lives more efficiently. The partner organizations will become more sustainable, more innovative and better connected with the youth and the local stakeholders. The target groups will benefit from higher qualitative educational programs which will lead to a professional development in line with the personal talents and passions. Passion in Action will have a high impact on Dreams for Life and local community, because we want to develop through this project: a 3 day multiplying training for 20 local youth workers, a Community for Education and Learning in Timisoara and a Non-Formal Education Summit.
