TERMINÉ
“ParticipAction” is a trilateral youth exchange to be held in Miglierina (Italy, Calabria) among 36 young people in the age 14-17, perfectly gender balanced, coming from Italia, Hungary and Czech Republic. It aims to contribute to the development of a positive attitude in the participants towards themselves, their local community, the “other” and also their environment. As also Pope Francis recommended. Since this project assumes that young generations are the “seed” of the future. Their own future, but also the future of their village or their city, their Country and, finally, of diverse but united Europe. And so they should better know which are their rights and their duties, their opportunities and their responsibilities of being and acting as citizens. Then, main themes are European awareness, active European citizenship, social responsibility, creativity and entrepreneurship and environmental protection, but also health and wellness.
The impact of our project will interest directly and immediately all participants, but later on it will affects their families, their places and their communities. In the framework of that European active citizenship that we want to focus on. This is the main meaning of the title of the project: “ParticipAction”. First of all, this impact will be measured with the contribution to the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes of participants at individual, social and cultural level.
The impact on our young participants will be realized as soon as our objectives will be targeted and produces in the longer term. When local communities will be interested by a change in terms of behaviours and responsibilities, by a new participation, a new enthusiasm and a better will to act and to make by some of its youngest citizens.
The impact on partner organisations, in addition, in the longer term can carry to new projects and activities in the framework of common themes, problems and attitudes.
The method applied will be based on non-formal and experiential learning, on intercultural dialogue, tolerance, solidarity and social inclusion, and on the deep interaction, active participation, responsibility and self-entrepreneurship of participants. Consequently, implemented activities will be: energizers, openings, ice-breaking, brainstorming and forums, team building, team games and role-play games, educational and interactive workshops, storytelling and video-making, shooting, problem solving, sport and outdoor activities, music performances, intercultural parties.
