n this application we involve 24 volunteers from France and give them the possibility to join projects in Greece. . Our main aim with the EVS project is to exchange cultures between European, on this way to promote solidarity and tolerance, to increase social cohesion among youngsters, to promote active citizenship and offer opportunities of non-formal learning . The volunteers will support the everyday activities of the organization and take part in activities in the theme of environment protection. The main target group is youngsters with fewer opportunities, migrants, youth in poverty, unemployed youngsters, youth that are living with the difficult background..etc., and our goal is to involve these young people in volunteering, to develop solidarity and promote tolerance. The activities for the volunteers incorporate a variety of learning styles, while developing skills in critical and creative thinking, problem- solving and cooperative learning. Our main objective is to develop a more positive attitude towards volunteering and education, non-formal education. The overall hope is that we will begin to re-engage the target group and create a more positive attitude towards society and ultimately education and we believe EVS volunteers can play a vital role in this process. The project will take place in Xylokastro and the duration is 30 days.
