Parcours d'Apprentissage de Savoirs Spécifiques à l'Artisanat Générés en Europe
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

“PASSAGE “( Training course of specific skills in craft industry generated in Europe) follows our five previous Leonardo mobility Projects which enabled some of our pupils to make their professional training periods in Europe. The project “PASSAGE” is part of a set of goals of our artistic craft school. It is an important main line of our school project and matches with the national reform of vocational schools. In the heart of our educational approach, The project PASSAGE conveys the wish to assert the excellent relationships we keep up with our all European partners. This experience in these countries, led us to an essential and profitable collaboration with some schools which give us their support and advice. They have links with the surrounding companies, along with companies that have hosted pupils for some years. The activities are targeted and are always professionally rich.. Our school, in accordance with the conclusions concerning the trainees mobility, made by the European council of education and youth that recommends that “each student should have the opportunity to take part in a kind of mobility during his studies or training course, with a placement”, would like to offer to a wider number of pupils, the opportunity to make their training period in one of our partner countries. Our vocational trainings belong to the craft and artistic field. There is an old travelling tradition throughout Europe : artists and craftmen travelled to pass on their knowledge . The ambition of our vocational school is to train culturally- aware, creative and broad-minded young people. Our trainings are very specific and it is impossible to put more than two pupils in the same place and field. This is why the initiators of the PASSAGE project chose to offer the mobility project, first to pupils who follow a V and V degree course in the field of art cabinetwork, upholstery, stone masonry, and metal work. We particularly try to satisfy the applications of the second to last year because in the middle of their studies they really could take advantage of this training period abroad at a personal and professional level. Furthermore, they can also promote the project the following year among the younger pupils. Our pupils are really eager to do their training periods abroad. Thanks to the good relationships formed year after year, we can now apply for 28 grants . Because we offer a limited number of places per courses, we select the most motivated pupils. The team leading the Erasmus+ project is growing bigger and thus strengthens the important place that “the opening to Europe” holds in our educational approach and more widely in the life of our school. Teachers from various departments (technical fields, arts, language),Deputy head, education counselor and the administration, work hand in hand around the different aspects of the project (logistics, finance, educational support of the training period, communication..) Our pupils are under age because of the reform of the baccalaureat. It requires a specific support and an accompanying adult has to be with them when they arrive or when they leave the host country . Most of our students come from working class. They are not used to mobility and, if they’re alone, they may be in trouble. We use both internet and the press to communicate around these actions and we give europass certificates to the trainees.
