Plunges Technology and Business School aims to correspond to business needs in Plunge region and pays great attention to such professions’ spheres as machinery maintenance, building, food production and tourism services.The idea of the project “Developing apprenticeship skills in vocational training, based on international experience” is to get students acquainted with vocational training forms and its practical usage in EU countries. Prepared informational material could be useful to students and teachers. With the help of the project Plunges Technology and Business School aims to create an opportunity to 8 employees(profession teachers and people responsible the process organization) from vocational school to obtain training and get better knowledge about the dual system of vocational training abroad during 5 day mobility traineeship – work observation visits in Austrian and German enterprises. 16 students will have 4 week mobility traineeship in the same countries and the abilities and achievements of participants will be assessed and recognized by sending institution.Project objectives:• Teachers will achieve required knowledge and skills for successful development of apprenticeship in the school.• Teachers will improve their professional knowledge about the ECVET and integrate it in the school.• Teachers will improve their professional knowledge using new technologies and equipment.• Teachers will gain self – confidence and ability to adapt in new surrounding and work in an international team. • Teachers will use innovations in their teaching practice.• Students will achieve new skills and competences required for chosen profession and EU labor market.• Participants will get acquainted with culture, customs and traditions of foreign languages.• Participants will improve their social and foreign language skills.Plunges Technology and Business School will be responsible for the project administration. Both Plunges Technology and Business School and host institutions such as BVÖ Bildungsberatung & Vermittlungsagentur GmbH (Austria) and "Infeba e.V." (Germany) will be responsible for fulfilling the project activities.Experience in project work shows those 4 weeks of practical training abroad is an optimal period of time for students to get acquainted with and broaden their knowledge about the peculiarities of chosen professions in foreign countries. Students become more interested in their professions and the possibility to improve their own skills.At the end of the traineeship participants will get certificates (given by host countries and based on ECVET system) confirming their attendance in traineeship and Europass mobility document which shows evaluationsachieved during the traineeship: results of practical training, professional, linguistical and personal improvement.Traineeship for students will be accepted as a part of their vocational training which is foreseen in teaching program.Profession teachers and employees will get the certificates of qualification development given by sending institution. Photos, video recordings and any other written information and material will be collected and used for the brochure „Vocational training methods in Austria and Germany“.
