Longterm EVS project "Outward Bound volunteer project " organized by Outward Bound Croatia (OBC), will take place in Zagreb and Veliki Zitnik in Croatia from 1st December 2014 till 31st May 2014. Three young people from France, Portugal and Finland will volunteer for 6 months in OBC office in Zagreb and in OBC educational centre in a small villlage Veliki Zitnik during OBC educational programs in nature. The objective is to empower young people from different backgrounds, different cultures and nationalities for their future life and career. During this EVS volunteers will have a unique chance to experience the whole process of development and implementation of programs and projects for children and youth, as through volunteering in OBC office in Zagreb and later on during programs in our educational centre in Veliki Zitnik or other locations, they will be involved in a wide range of different activities taken to deliver a project. Volunteers will be helping with the work in office, helping with the tasks regarding the multimedia, promotion and public relations, preparation and writing of the projects for children and youth. During the implementation of the projects for youth, they will be included as a part of the organizing team, taking some responsibility for the practical aspects of project management, evaluation and monitoring, as well as for presenting the projects through media and social networks, finding creative ideas to promote projects and disseminate results and visibility of the organizations work, Erasmus + programme and EVS. Volunteers will help on Outward Bound educational outdoor programs in nature, working closely with other young people with different social, cultural and personal backgrounds. They will be integrated in the local community, socializing, participating different activities and events, learn and practice new languages. Volunteers will develop and improve a range of skills and competences during their EVS experience – digital, social and civic, foreign languages and intercultural learning and also their cultural awareness will develop and their attitudes toward healthy lifestyles and outdoor activities will develop. On the arrival back home in their country volunteers will use their EVS experience, gained skills and competences in their future work, career, education and personal life. Dugotrajni EVS „Outward Bound volonterski projekt“organizira Hrvatska škola Outward Bound od 1.12.2014. – 31.5.2015. u Zagrebu i Velikom Zitniku. 3 mladih iz Francuske, Porutugala i Finske volontirati će 6 mjeseci u Outward Bound uredu u Zagrebu i Outward Bound edukacijskom centru u Velikom Žitniku u vrijeme održavanja Outward Bound edukacijskih programa u prirodi. Cilj je osnažiti mlade sudionike iz različitih okruženja, kultura i nacionalnosti za njihov budući život i karijeru. Za vrijeme njihovog volontiranja na ovome projektu sudionici će imati jedinstvenu priliku iskusiti cjelokupni proces razvoja i implementacije programa i projekata za djecu i mlade, obzirom da će kroz volontiranje u uredu u Zagrebu i kasnije u vrijeme održavanja programa u edukacijskom centru u Velikom Žitniku biti uključeni u široki raspon različitih aktivnosti potrebnih za uspješno ostvarenje projekta. Volonteri će pomagati u uredu, sa zadacima vezanima za multimediju, promociju i odnose s javnošću, pripremu i pisanje projekata za djecu i mlade. Za vrijeme implementacije projekata volonteri će biti uključeni kao dio organizacijskog tima, preuzimajući neke odgovornosti za praktične aspekte izvođenja projekata, evaluacije i monitoringa, kao i za prezentaciju projekata kroz medije i socijalne mreže, pronalazeći kreativne ideje za promociju i diseminaciju rezultata i vidljivosti rada organizacije, Erasmus+ programa i Europske volonterske službe. Volonteri će pomagati na Outward Bound edukacijskim programima u prirodi, radeći direktno s ostalim mladima iz različitih socijalnih, kulturnih i osobnih okruženja. Volonteri će biti uključeni u lokalnu zajednicu, socijalizirati se kroz sudjelovanje na različitim aktivnostima i događajima, učiti i vježbati nove jezike. Razvijati će i poboljšati niz vještina i kompetencija za vrijeme ovoga EVS projekta – digitalne, socijalne i građanske, vještine stranih jezika i intekulturalnog učenja te će njihova svijest o kulturnim razlikama kao i njihovi stavovi prema zdravim životnim navikama i aktivnostima u prirodi biti razvijena. Po povratku u svoje zemlje, volonteri će upotrijebiti svoje iskustvo, stečene vještine i kompetencije u svom budućem radu, karijeri, obrazovanju i osobnom životu.
