Date du début: 31 mai 2016, Date de fin: 30 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

„Outdoor – a never ending activity“is a youth-exchange for adolescents, between 15 and 18 years old, coming from different European countries: Finland, Spain, Austria/Liechtenstein, and Luxemburg. The youth-exchange takes place in Colmar-Berg/Luxemburg from the 15th till the 24th of July 2015. The advanced planning meeting is in Diekirch/Luxemburg from the 31st of May till the 03 of June 2015.We want to give the youngsters the possibility of getting aware of their own competencies and to promote these skills. Furthermore we aim to show them how to use these competencies in their future life. The objective of our project is to strengthen the adolescents during their future life and tasks (for example: becoming an adult, education, job, family,…).25 adolescents from 5 different countries spend 8 days together. They get the chance to know each other and to appreciate and respect one another. The methods to implement the project are experiential pedagogy outdoor activities, topic related workshops, reflection-methods, cultural evenings and excursions. The non-routine setting enables them to stimulate their foreign-language, interpersonal, intercultural and social competencies. Nevertheless, we seek not only to use language as a communication tool but nature as well. Experiential pedagogy outdoor activities increase the self-awareness of the adolescents because of the experience they gain in certain situations. The experience creates a situation where they see what needs to be changed and what they have to do, to change it. The topic-workshop is our written method to make them aware of their competencies and to keep record of it. The planed reflection-methods aim to give the adolescents the possibility to review the activities and to express constructive criticism. Through this methods and activities the adolescents get prepared to handle future challenges.
