The project examined the attitudes by male/female attitudes to work and home life. The training course dissected the inequality in the work place and home and discussed the strategies they would use in their own countries to eliminate the disparities in order for both male/female to have a better quality of life for themselves and community. This would help them to gain mutual respect among one another. Through interactive discussion between the participants who shared experiences. This was found to be vital as they were able to educate themselves by hearing shared experiences. The ideas were documented and practical ideas of good practice in equality helped to uplift and motivate t participants who was the aims and objectives of the training and was and is vital to create better relationships and a cohesive society. The project helped in building up self- confidence in both men and women through their participation in the activities, social events and discussions groups. The project allowed the genders to move forward, learning from past experience, cultures and traditions and developed ideas and relationships for further partnership projects. The training empowered the participants and allowed them to evolve, and learn about how men and women can live better and support each through peer support, workshops and sharing good practice. By the end of the training course the participants felt empowered and confident enough to plan activities in their own countries by forging links to other partners in further planning of gender equality in their communities, workplace, in decision-making.
