ERASMUS+: Youth in Action | Key Action 1: Youth Exchange Project Title: „Our Life/Our Future“ Topics: Youth Empowerment, Youth Unemployment Aims: empowerment of youth, discover resources, encourage independence and own initiative, exchange of experiences, learning from each other Target group: young people (f/m) 14-19 years, per Country 8 participants (2Leaders, no age limit) Venue: Vienna Date : 9.March 2015 – 20.March 2015 Partners: Italy, Romania, Latvia, Spain, Egypt and Azerbajjan "Our Life/Our Future" is a youth exchange, which supports the empowerment of the teenagers and adolescents, show them how to recognize the own strenght and the best ways to insert these. During the visit in Vienna, there will be 2 main topics – Empowerment and Youth Unemploymentwhich will be approached through different methods. The goal is to identify the resources of the participants and to encourage their independence, self-confidence and own initiative. For instance on the topic of empowerment we will make different selfreflektion activities/games, to show the participants how many ressources we all have and how we can use this ressources. There are two different main themes, the first is to present themselve and the other one is to get a feedback about themselve from other Participants. To make the participants aware of their own ressources, but in a playfully way, which makes it more easy for them to reflect on their own experiences and lives, as well as to listen to the other participants situations and develop a feeling and deeper understanding for other peoples realities. On the topic of youth unemployment we will do activities with the participants to find the answer of „what is my dream Job?“ and „what i need to get this job?“. Other important contants are to show the Participants the „new“ Jobs because there are many new job opportunities and of course to get to understand the significance to have a education and a job. Despite all these content related goals, the biggest and most important goal of “Our Life/Our Future” is to spend an enriching and inspiring time together with all participants – so that we all – youths and tutors – make new experiences and get the opportunity to learn something from each other.
