ORGANIZATIONAL SYNERGY OR INNOVATIVE MOTIVATION The purpose of our project through which we discussed the titles of ‘Group Dynamics and Social Skills In The Classroom’ and ‘Action Methods and Increasing Motivation In Learning Situations’ is to contribute to the energy and motivational enhancement in classrooms in specific and at whole school in general sense and convert our teachers’ and learners’ energy into synergy and their motivation into organizational innovation. For this purpose ; through the applications of methods such as group exercises,pedagogical dramas,co-operative learning,creative arts,humour types,peer support,excursions and job-shadowing it is reckoned to realize the objectives for students’ learning in the way of setting a positive climate for learning,clarifying the purposes of the learning,organizing and making available learning resources,balancing intellectual and emotional components of learning,sharing feellings and thoughts with learners but not dominating and those objectives for teachers’ professional development in the way of providing basic knowledge of group dynamics,observing the group Dynamics in the classroom,providing tools to make positive interventions to the group dynamics,providing basic knowledge of social skills,providing tools to create classroom climate which support learning social skills,providing adequate methods to teach social skills,learn to recognise our own power and weakness as a group leader. To be able to realize project objectives stated above, the participants of our project team consisting of 12 persons are chosen from both amongst teachers,school administrators and group leaders who is in need of the aimed training or like to further their professional self-development and those ambitious and visionary ones who did a master degree in the fields of their teaching or Educational Sciences and now planning to assist their colleagues through coaching,mentoring and training in the future. Our project will be carried out within a structured framework of a pre-arranged programme by course provider abroad through which we will experince in-service trainings,practice-oriented applications and school visits and so will be carried out on at our own institution by means of various inhouse dissemination activities in forms of pilot schemes,expansion of those schemes to the rest of the classrooms and post-course activities such as seminars, workshops, courses, e-newsletters, presentations, conferences, e-learning, training for those external teachers from other schools in the town.E-tools and social media platforms that we feel obliged to use in the phases of project process will foster our competences of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) also through project components like english as the project language to our language proficiency,school visits abroad to our knowledge of foreign education systems,good relationships set up with our foreign partners to our knowledge of foreign cultures and to the minimization of prejudice against others will be ensured. By means of this project, our teachers will gain new competences and qualifications like ‘They will be informed of especially new methods and pedagogy,skillful in the implementation of practice-oriented tasks and applications,expert in adapting new learning methods and techniques to their own lesson plans/curriculum,self-confident and willing to work with foreign partners in the development of international projects. To sum up, our project work is expected to contribute to our teachers’ professional development as regars motivation,group dynamics,energy psychology,and knowledge of social skills likewise trained teachers are hoped to help our school staff through seminars,conferences,practical applications,workshops,in-service trainings,coaching and mentoring thereby we believe that the organizational synergy brought will take the lead in our dream of creating an innovative school.
