TERMINÉ
The projects partners intend to develop the Oresund innovation system within materials science, to create the fundament to make the region a world leading materials science centre. To reach this goal, the project will work with linking the regional strengths, making use of the innovation capacity within materials science, and integrating the innovation system across Oresund. Achievements: The goal of creating a "community" between universities and material sciences was partly achieved. Among the results are a mapping of existing academic courses, a study into the facility Oak Ridge, an annual reoccuring network event, study tours to regions with similar spallation facilities, and an academic summer school. A permanent platform/network was not created.
