The aim of the project „Experience from mobility to the professional competences (EFMTTPC)“ 2014-2016 is to let the future professional employees or the students of TTHK (Tallinn Industrial Education Centre, vocational school) acquire the work experience outside Estonia. The activities offered in the project will expand vocational training opportunities for students by making it possible to gain necessary skills and knowledge abroad. Due to the project, there is an opportunity to improve students´ competencies and competetive intelligence in Europe. Moreover, it will contribute to the future cooperation between schools from different countries. The project partners of TTHK are long-term friendship schools from Finland and Latvia who have got all necessary competences for teaching professions and a good reputation among employers and other partners: Tavastia Vocational College (Tavastia Ammattiopisto), Finland; Ogre State Technical College (Ogres Valsts Tehnikums), Latvia; Helsinki Vocational College (Stadin ammattiopisto), Finland. The purpose of EFMTTPC is as follows: *To accomplish obtained professional (vocational) knowledge, skills and competences and thereby improve the employability and competetive intelligence; *To make vocational training more attractive and raise the level of training by offering the students a practical experience abroad; *To compare acquired competencies in the curriculum with the project partners by implementing the principes of ECVET; *To continue to develop and expand cooperation with partner schools and identify possible trends for developing professions (specialties); *To support students´ development by improving their language and teamwork skills through the practice in the foreign work environment; *To examine and compare the cultural differences and broaden their specialty (occupation) horizons. On coming back to school the students involved in the project will make their presentations during the discussion session and will share their professional, work-related and cultural knowledge and experience gained during their practical training abroad. The participants of the project are the II-IV year students of Tallinn Industrial Education Centre who are adults with conversational level of English language proficiency and who have obtained the learning outcomes required for the participation which is registered by the memorandum of mutual trust. In the framework of EFMTTPC project 2014-2016, 48 students from such curriculum groups as textile, leather products manufacture, energy and automatics, transportation vehicles and beauty services are sent for practical training and placements in enterprises. The project partners of TTHK are long-term friendship schools from Finland and Latvia who have got all necessary competences for teaching professions and a good reputation among employers and other partners. The host partners are reliable vocational schools who have an experience of the implementation of various projects for the European Union countries. The host project partner provides students with two-week training at school and six-week internship placement in the company or enterprise, accommodation, language and cultural programme, transport if necessary and the feedback on the project. The host partner will also support the learners during the training process and will map the achieved learning outcomes. In the process of the project management the Gantt chart is used in order to ensure the quality of the objectives. The students are entered into a contract to participate in the project and the internship. In the course of the project the students will have the constant interaction with the training supervisors and the employers' representatives. The project will contribute to the acquisition of students´ learning outcomes and competences abroad, broaden their minds and shape their willingness to work in a foreign cultural and language environment. The project will definitely step up the cooperation between partners, expand vocational training opportunities and make vocational training more attractive not only for students but also for the public at large.
