Santa Ana School in Huesca supports values education and bilingual education. The whole school faculty is involved in this project with the desire to perpetuate and continue with it. With this Erasmus+ project, as well as every project that is already being carried out, the identity signs of our centre are expected to be defined. Through some reports such as PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment) or EUROSTAT (Statistical Office of the European Communities), ours students are compared with students from other countries that belong to the OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development) in order to establish quality improvements in teaching, a process that is more and more homogeneous all around Europe. This is one of the most important reasons why Santa Ana School does not want to fall behind as far as it concerns new opportunities on improving education, teamwork and the opening process to our neighbouring countries. Based on an analysis of the methodology used, the teacher training and the opening process to Europe, the Annual School Report of the academic year 2014/2015 shows the existence of good teaching practices in the centre as well as some needs that are now considered as proposals to improve educational quality. Currently, we walk through a more open, participative and global society that is constantly demanding new competences, both for students and teachers. Because of that, we need to take this challenge on board. One of the needs that has been identified is the establishment of a common and homogeneous methodology for those teachers teaching one or several subjects in the Comprehensive Programme of Bilingualism in Foreign Languages in Aragón (PIBLEA). Because of that, this project justifies why teacher training in CLIL methodology is so important. Besides, values education is one of the strongest points in our centre, especially nowadays, given the current situation in Europe and the coming designation of Huesca as city of reception of refugees. It is therefore considered that the work carried out with our students, regarding inwardness and emotional education, through projects such as “En Ti” (“Inside Yourself”) and “Aprendizaje y Servicio” (“Learning and Service”), could be widened through training in values such as empathy. Due to the fact that Santa Ana is an inclusive school, empathy development among the whole faculty gains more importance keeping in mind the school’s own context and the personal characteristics of its large number of students with specific educational support needs. A constant reflection on the teacher-student bonds becomes also relevant in the school as a result of the very different needs of our students and the relationships that are established between them, with the adults and with the society in general. The main objectives are as follows:- To increase the relationships among European schools in order to homogenize the teaching practices and to improve the linguistic competence in different languages. - To improve quality in the teaching and learning process through values education and emotional education. The number of participants in this project is divided into three levels:- 1st level: 6 teachers that will participate in the training courses abroad.- 2nd level: 42 teachers that will receive cascade training- 3rd level: all the students in the center will benefit from the teachers training. To conclude, the impact that is expected from this project, as already been said, will be observed in the entire school, in teachers and students alike. The improvements that are expected will show not only a good social willingness and an attitude of solidarity towards other European citizens, but also an improvement of the linguistic competence, specifically that of English language.
