The theme of project "Open Your Mind" is human rights with an emphasis on equal rights, and our goal is to make youngsters from different countries understand the importance of these topics, and their own part in these fields, both in present and future society. Project "Open Your Mind" tasks is to make young people think about human rights and equal rights in general and gender equality on identity and sexuality, about the role of religion and nationality; create discussion between young people from different countries to learn from other cultures; encourage young people to consider a change of ownership and initiative in making changes to the existing society; support rural youth growth and development; reduce discrimination and promote equality in the various human rights issues; promote youth affiliation in Europe and the understanding of European citizenship; create postcards that will rise reflection about human rights and equal rights issues. The participating countries will be Latvia, Georgia, Germany and Lithuania. The exchange will take place in Georgia, in city Rustavi. We will include seven participants plus one leader from each (two leaders from Georgia) of the for participant countries aged 18 - 25. This will be implemented through several non-formal activities about the importance of human and equal rights. We will discuss these topics thoroughly, attend different seminars and create postcards with different messages about human and equal rights issues. We will therefore spread information about human rights and ERASMUS+ program in a non-formal, interesting and fun way. The duration of the project will be 10 days from 23.05.-01.06.2015., so we will have approximately 8 full days to achieve our goals. We are more than confident that we can really make a difference during this short period of time.
