Open up ! Integration in Action !
Date du début: 1 août 2014, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

"Open up ! Integration in Action !" is an encounter between 38 young participants from Croatia, Slovakia, France and Bulgaria. It took place from the 14th to the 28th of June 2015 in the small town of Bratsigovo (4500 inhabitants), near Plovdiv. This rural area but close to a big city is particularly interesting for our project, built around the theme of integration and creativity, individually and collectively, that will try to make each person an active individual in territories more or less integrated to the contemporary dynamics, issues and flow of ideas, knowledge, goods and people. We have met during two weeks in workshops of reflection and workshops shaping these reflections (using playful or artistical means) with the aim of promoting new participatory and creative methods, and initiate a new civic engagement from the inhabitants and stakeholders, and from ourselves. This encounter, dealing with issues of economic and social integration in contemporary Europe, allowed us to build our own teaching methods and diffusion processes, and was a strong message sent to many publics : schools, young people across Europe through our network, inhabitants of the city in which we were welcomed and where we built many tools using new technologies and allowing us to multiply the impact and disseminate the results of our discussions. We have developped different means of diffusion (images, stories, testimonies, staged or danced scenes) as tools that enhance the participation and the active involvement in economic, social and political activities, of every citizen. We would like to extend this meeting by a new exchange in 2016, showing the durability of a wider action opening up our personal and collective territories, in order to participate in the construction of open, creative and cohesive societies, which nourish and stimulate others, by their rich diversity and their interactive networks.
