One to one tablet/computer learning

In our School ( Private Primary School in Piraeus ), gradually since the school year 2012- 2013 and expanded since the school year 2013-2014 we have introduced the teaching technique 1-1 tablet/ipad for the classe of D', E' and 6th .Our school supplies each student with an ipad tablet, which gives them the ability to have access to internet to a variety of educational digital material and digital ebooks /books which have been written and prepared by our teachers for all school subjects. So far, the evaluation of this pioneering method, haw shown the great benefits which this programme offers to our students: equal access to knowledge ,standardization of procedures, easy renewal of knowledge , simple net manipulation, ability of the electronic register of the students progress the online behaviour, the enrichment of the used school syllabus , motivation and mobilazation to all students, fast and longlasting interest for learning. By submiting our Erasmus+ KA1 plan in the context of the programme for our faculty mobility under the working assingment programme 1-1 tablet/computer learning we would like to be given the opportunity to visit other educational agencies and institutes as well as schools which apply equivalent process so as to give the chance to educate further and also enrich our programme and meet other potentials for its applications. It is essential to exchange experience, information and various material and share visions and procedures with our European partners and therefore expand our horizons on our educational and multicultural cooperation. Besides , the education changes even more radically than society and finance.This is the commom and global belief. Therefore we are obliged to be pioneers and follow these changes so as to combine the traditional ways with the update ones , in order to have better and more effective results for the benefit of our students the emminent European citizens or even leaders of the future decades. All of the above targets were trully accomplish in an extended degree by conducting three educational trips-visits of our school faculty to Education institutes and schools of Cyprus (Primary School of Kyperounda), the Steve Jobs School of Holland and the Graz University of Austria ,as well as the visit of other school teachers from abroad to our school (Primary School of Kyperounda).Our school teachers who visited the above institutes were Mrs Karayianni Evangelia (in charge of the Pedagogical task), Mrs Anastasia Papadopoulou (IT manager) , MrsEvangelia Mouzouri (teacher) and Mrs Chistina Tsota (teacher). Their selection was done, based on their teaching experience and their involvment in the creation of the interactive books and implementation from their side of the 1 to 1 teaching technique with the use of ipads . Due to the visits , the participants gained valuable knowledge and skills and adopted new concepts that hepled them improve their pedagogiacal educational task. They were acquainted with educational systems of the partner countries , their levels of education , their assessment and evaluation methods used, the principles of the functional running of schools , their visions and targets of these institutes , their teaching techniques applied and the structure of these institutes (premises, teaching classrooms, furniture structure, electronic tablets ) as well as the way they apply all these new technologies in their education. As a conclusion, the participant teacher exchanged ideas on educational issues with their teacher colleagues and expanded their horizons on the pedagogical concept. In addition , we set the base for a long lasting and two- way collaboration which promoted the cooperation in international levels of the schools involved and their turnig point to society in general.
