TERMINÉ
The EU will face in the future two major challenges, one of which being the current refugee crisis and the demographic development. Especially the current situation raises amongst many young people the questions - does the EU still have a future? – are the national aspirations getting more and more in the foreground?, and is solidarity just becoming an empty slogan? In order to counteract this tendency, where the Equip only think first more and more to their own needs, we want to make a little signal with this youth exchange. By selecting the countries - two Eastern European and 3 western states – we want to promote greater understanding, knowing that our Youth Exchange is only a small drop on a hot stone. The second challenge in our ageing society where the coexistence of young and old should not be done side by side, but with each other. With the selection of our subject, we want to achieve contacts between young and old, and thus contribute to improved communication but also especially understanding and openness towards the others achievements. Both parties are rather isolated from each other nowadays. It comes through music - music that was heard 50 years ago to be compared with the music of today. This music must be heard and played in each country beforehand and then presented at the Youth Exchange. With the inclusion of a nursing home and its inhabitants, all the participants should try establish contacts with these people through music. Original songs should also be composed in various music workshops in and outside the nursing home. We want to achieve greater openness, more tolerance and understanding for all. Also we want to discuss the solidarity and the EU's objectives and content, and ask the question, why the EU Equip starts again - to distinguish themselves more instead of working together. Can we learn from the elderly. They've experienced the EU structure from the outset? But with the youth exchange we also want to introduce the idea of a joint, solidary EU,wherein the strongest does not determine everything, but also the weak have a voice. There are 27 young people from 5 different countries participating (Liechtenstein, Poland, Latvia, France and Belgium), who are interested in music, either playing an instrument or singing.Workshops, visits and discussions will take place to encourage a lively exchange. 5 mixed bands will be formed that play old songs during this week and compose and try new songs on "Old and Young" in the nursing home. There will also be two concerts, one in the old people's home and one outside -either in a youth center or another public location. At the international evening each country should be present so as to achieve a better acquaintance of the structures of the different countries. The accommodation will be simple with self-catering - the young people themselves must show commitment and can not only be served upon, as is often the case in hostels. This will hopefully encourage a more intensive and dynamic exchange. The results we will presented through the public concerts and also on the Internet , social networks and their respective websites. Likewise, a small video clip will be created from this youth exchange and also provided on the Internet.
