Our school has started education life in 1975-1976 education year. And our school separated into two parts as primary and secondary school in 2012-2013 Education year. It has started as primary school in that education year. In our school, there are 3 administrators and 44 teachers. We have 946 students consisting of different socio-cultural level. Also Ten percent of our students have Dysfunctional family. Our main subject is to grow up students who are aware of human dignity, multiplism, justice, solidarity, rule of law and equality of woman and man. However, we sometimes have difficulty on reaching our goals because of the students who have different socio cultural levels. As a school we firstly aim at turning disadvantage into an advantage. Our School has never been in an European Project before, but it took part in some national Projects driven by Ministry of Education. Also, Our School took part in “I Trust My English” Project as head school. Some social activities are still going on such as art exhibition, crew clup, poem performance etc… With these activities, we aim to solve compliance problem among students in school. Besides, Despite the School Counselor regularly provides consultancy service to students who have problems in school, we can’t observe any changes on these students. We pay attention to sense of belonging to school. “Belonging can be defined as feeling to be accepted and having a place in society, and by the means of this, feeling themselves important.” (Yildiz, 1997) The best way to improve the sense of belonging is collaborative learning method which is supported by experts. “The method of collaborative learning gives a chance to improve effective working and learning strategies, beside this, it is very effective method to have group working ability, social skills and positive friendship relation.” (Ozgenoglu, 2007) In our Project, there are 12 participants as 2 managers, 1 consultancy teacher, 1 kindergarten teacher, 2 English teachers, and 6 class teachers. Participants have been chosen in a transparent and fair way by school commission. The participants in our Project are democratic, respectful to human rights and open-minded. They also know English in A1 level and have joined different in-service training in our country. The participants are going to attend the course in 2 groups consisting of 6 people. Also all the participants are going to attend job shadowing a school in Italy. There will be made 3 groups consisting of 4 people.
