Pre-school teachers in our school and in our country have difficulty in performing activities considering children’s interests and curiosity, arousing curiosity on activities, implementing child-centeredtraining and more importantly makingschoolfunny.Today where child-centerednesshave place in ourtraining programs, we want to make schools funny and educational by implementing Montessori approach in real terms, which is one of the best reflection of this consideration.
Objectives of our project
Supporting development of children at pre-school ages and offering an alternative training opportunityin pre-school period, gaining children selection freedom, obtaining benefitstowards children's problem-solving, creativity and communication skills, increasing our teachers’ qualification to grow happy children with self-confidence and high social skills through Montessori training program. For this purpose, we want to get training and take part in practices in the countries such as Germany and Italy where such issueis commonly implemented.
**The number of the participant and profile
The participants of the project in our schoolare 8 teachers with5-30 year-experience, eager to implement Montessori training method, following the literature and workingon this issue.The participant group consist of teachers who are dependent to their profession, open toinnovative approaches, have highcommunication skills, have ability to transfer what they have learned on the basis of information.
** Description of activities;
After the selection of the participants based on project selection criteria and after the necessary preparations, the participants will perform studies on Montessori Method for 2 weeks in Germany and Italy and thereby their development will be provided in terms ofpedagogical, cultural and language.
**Methodology
All transactions of the project will be carried out by the project owner institution and the institution will be responsible for the preparation of the project, performing operations and preparing final report.
** Results and effects
- Transferring the practices related to Montessori Method in pre-school education field to our school,
- Providing the participants familiarization with Europa and European culture, developing their understanding of tolerance and developing their social participation,
- Developing their foreign language and communication skills,
- Observing different practices on pre-school educationfield in European countries and making them reach learning experience in pre-school education,
- Gainingthem the culture of being active in schoolquality development and developing plans and project development,
In terms ofour school;
A result ofourachievementsobtained, the Participants will implement their reach learning experience and thereby they will support our children’s motor, cognitive, language, social and emotional development. Theachievements obtained will allow us to reach our goals that we aimed in our strategic plans. We will continue to raise our school to the highest level in pre-school educationfield based on the philosophy of “todaywe will be better than yesterday”,
The activities to be generalized in pre-school education institutionswill ensure the grooving of happy individuals with self-confidence and high social skillsby providing positive contributions to administrators, teachers and parents and most importantlyto our children.
Host partnercountries will familiarize the culture of visitor partnercountry and have information on pre-school educationpractices in our country and recognize the products specific to our province and our country.
