ÖZEL EĞİTİME MUHTAÇ BİREYLERİN İŞ YAŞAMINDA KARŞILAŞTIKLARI SORUNLARIN AVRUPA BOYUTUNDA İNCELENMESİ

Our project was completed towards specialists in special education who provide solutions to the encountered problems of special training individuals in their working life, and towards consultants who will provide motivation by supporting lifelong learning. The aim of running that project is thinking about the problems of disabled people working in our country, creating new discussion and research facilities and providing arrangements in their working environment according to their obstacles for having self-sufficient work environments. With this project, Sweden Special Educational Institutions were examined as a role model for the individuals in order to become happy citizens and perform roles in society, can establish good relations with others, can work in collaboration, can adapt to the environment. 9 people attended the project. 4 of participants are teachers of mentally handicapped. 2 of the participants are men and 7 of the participants are women. All of the participants of the project graduated from faculty and have expertise in their field at least five years' experience. Between our teachers who participate in the project, there are two art teachers, a physical education teacher, a guidance counselor and a school administrator trained in the field of special education. Our project is scheduled over two sides, Sweden side was completed the mobility performance but Netherlands side could not be performed. As a result participants have examined Sweden method of application about the individuals with special needs' education and their difficulties encountered in their working lives. Our visiting institutions and our inspection in Stockholm, Sweden, is highly effective and productive. After Sweden side of the project was completed and returned to our country, with our participants our project dissemination activity, introduction meetings and seminar activities have been completed. In our region, we did survey and made firm that employed individuals with special needs made a questionnaire and informed the problems they encounter at work with their disabilities and disability rights. The method, techniques and materials are used, made for the solution of problems encountered by the working life of individuals with special needs in Europe was introduced by organizing meetings and seminars. While performing the activities of description of our project we have received extremely positive feedback from our partners. Expected impact on Participants, target groups and other partners: It contributes the awareness of disabled people about their rights. Investigation was made in which the rules of the workplace were taught. The research in which the occupational skills were taught after the skill was taught, generalization sessions were arranged in real working places. With this project, identifying the problems of individual with special educational needs encountered in their working life and providing motivation about the determination of the solution method, reducing to the problems in the level of minimum and so it provides increasing the level of adaptation society and the work and personal productivity. Our target group has been formed to case of thinking, arguing about working issues of disabled people, and creating new research opportunities. In our target group we have created the perception rule of taking their roles with disabilities in society, establishing good relations with others, can work in cooperation, can adapt to the environment, productive and being a happy citizen. Also at the local level individuals with special needs should train vocational training according to their interests and abilities; at the result of vocational training job placement and problems encountered in the work environment and their solutions was examined. In this context, participants who are individuals with special needs participating in the production area at the industrial production, increasing the adaptation level of society, work and individual productivity has contributed all of these. Thanks to gained fund of knowledge and experiences of participants in the EU Countries, both in terms of people with disabilities to participate in production and has helped contribute to increasing rates achievable employability in TRABZON.
