As the applicant of the project, Counselling and Research Center is an institution providing the follow up and coordination of the process beginning from pre-school to professional employment for special education students. Together with our subsidiaries, we address education and rehabilitation requirements of the students in need of special education. The primary goal of our institution is to integrate the students in need of special education into the society by ensuring that they have enough information and experience to be accepted by the society following a top-quality education. Within this scope, our institution and subsidiaries duly perform their duties.The core objective of this project is to provide a quality service for students in need of special education in accordance with the world standards to integrate them into the society and gain experience on the processes of education, administration and professional employment. We aim to enhance field and formation knowledge and experience of our institutions and teachers through mobility activity.Objectives of the project:To observe new approaches in the education, training and employment of individuals in need of special education. To analyse the tests implemented for identification and guidance as well as performance determination criteria. To see school and classroom environments established depending on handicap groups. To investigate the rehabilitation activities implemented in Austria and Hungary on site.To observe how individuals in need of special education are employed depending on their handicap groups.The participants and the number of participation were determined considering that they are key personnel and they meet the criteria to achieve the objectives. 10 personnel from each of our schools and Counselling and Research Center were selected in addition to 8 personnel from Labour and Occupation Agency Ereğli Service Center. It is planned for half of the participants to attend mobility activity in Hungary and the other half in Austria. Our participants were selected among postgraduates equipped with professional experiences who participated in the necessary in-service trainings. Participants from the Counselling and Research Center consist of personnel providing the coordination between expert institutions in the detection and direction of students in need of special education. They serve an active guidance duty during the process from pre-school to professional employment. Personnel from our schools were selected among graduates who currently serve educational activities and possess professional experiences in addition to participating in the necessary in-service trainings. Our teachers are providing education on social and cultural life as well as rehabilitation and professional competencies for students in need of special education. Participants from Labour and Occupation Agency Ereğli Service Center consist of experts and personnel having the required experience in the employment of our students and procurement of appropriate professional quota. While conducting the project, our method will be shaped in a away to attain our objectives. Our method and planning is as follows: Before the mobility activity starts, the participants will be told about the objectives through informative meetings. Information will be provided on individual preparations as well as rules and practises to obey before going abroad. Participants will also be informed about how to behave during mobility, what sort of education outputs to gain, which materials to be benefited and what the team spirit means. Preparation of the presentations to be implemented after the mobility is planned in a way to also prepare the activities to inform other institutions. Method is determined based on having the team spirit throughout the project, acting together, obeying the rules and focusing on the objectives. After the project, participants will be expected to prepare a report on whether the objectives are fulfilled. Information will be shared with other relevant institutions after the mobility. The participants will have the opportunity to implement the knowledge and experience they gained in their respective institutions and to bring a new perspective. Education outputs to be gained will constitute a source for our teachers. It is aimed to enhance the quality of education and eliminate the deficiencies in Turkey by observing the education environment in Austria and Hungary. Our institutions and participants are expected to convey their experiences on issues including administration, education, training, syllabus and new approaches to the other special education institutions in our region. These activities will be conducted by using various tools including conferences, presentations, workshops, written and visual media and web sites of the institutions. Ereğli Counselling and Research Center will be responsible for the coordination of these activities.
