The goal of the project was to develop cross-border eco-tourism in the counties of Somogy and Baranya, and the County of Osijek-Baranja, following the principles of sustainable development. The objectives included an increase in the number of organizations in the "Society for the Pursuit of Active Free Time and Environment-Conscious Education of Southern Transdanubian Region" to one hundred, development of a joint database, programming, creating a system of business cards, starting an eco-tourism portal in four languages with descriptions and maps taken from the GIS database on the outspread of certain habitat types in Hungary, which will help in the dissemination of information and joint presentation, as well as exchange of experiences. Achievements: With the joining of the Zselic Sunshine Foundation as coordinator of the network Society for the Pursuit of Active Free Time and Environment-Conscious Education of Southern Transdanubian Region, the number of society members reached 100. Interactive maps of habitats (0.6 x 0.6 km) were produced along with an historic atlas of the region, photographs, descriptions, and an updated eco-tourism website. Other results include 25 service programs and three informational presentations, the educational pilot-project treasure for 52 children, and the production of 375,000 info-cards.
