Rechercher des projets européens

Öğretmenlerimiz Uzmanlaşıyor: Öğretmenlerimiz Uzay Mühendisliği ve Bilgisayarlı Bilim Üzerine Üniversitelerde Araştırma Deneyimi Kazanıyor.
Date du début: 15 oct. 2016, Date de fin: 14 oct. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The aim of this project is to train science and math teachers in the field of "computational science" and "space science". Four teachers will be trained by higher institutions (HEI) and they will submit a short project related to their curriculum at the end of training. Two HIE (Oslo University SimulaLab and Spain Space Agency-INTA) will be responsible for givingz a training our schools' teachers chosen in different science branches. The project will long two years. In the first year, the teachers will attend one week short course to familiarize themselves for the research experiences in those HEI. In the second year, teachers will participate in a research laboratory for a one month for a job shadowing. During this training, they will work on the project assigned to them by the director of research lab. At the end of the project, they will publish a research article. They will also develop a curriculum related to their project. There are many courses offered for in-service training for teachers but those courses are usually very light and not well organized. They are usually offered by private companies to gain maximum profit from Erasmus + Funds. These courses don't go beyond other than touristic and cultural visits. There are 30,000 teachers who are participating in those courses. On the other hand, in the United State, there is a program for teachers, called "Research Experience for Teachers" offered by National Science Foundation of USA. This program consists of two parts: In the first part, teacher will have small experience in research environment during one week workshop. In second part, she attends a research group in the University and completes a project related to their curriculum. These kinds of research experiences are almost non existent for teachers in Europe. With our project, we are hoping bring the same experience for our school's teachers. At the end of this project, our teachers will be specialized in their field, and will taste and learn how a research done in a University Laboratory. In Erasmus+ "School Education Program", many projects are repeating themselves. Many universities can not collaborate with high schools due to its teachers having not competences in her field. In USA, some schools was able to complete their satellite and launched it successfully by the help RET project offered by NASA. We believe that our project will pave a way for a high school-university collaboration. Our school will be specialized as a science school in "computational science" and "space science" with help of research experiences offered to teachers in Universities. Our country, in order to be ready for 21th Century, must include computational science curriculum to our high school system immediately. This can be achieved only by providing a necessary training for teachers and let them feel ready for programming in computational science and space science.
