Within the syllabus of the schools which aim to graduate qualified person for food and beverage department, there are subjects like 'kitchen applications' which includes preparation and service of international cuisine and 'pastry making techniques and applications' which includes preparation and decoration of pastry, cookies and confectionary. These subjects are basic subjects that must be succeeded by the students of kitchen and pastry branches of the food and beverage department. International cuisine's food culture is taught and practices of these food are done in the kitchen applications course. Additionally, in the pastry making techniques and application lesson, making different types of pastry, tarts, cookies and their decoration techniques are taught and various practices are done. Teachers make students prepare these food by getting benefit from course book and internet. Thanks to the training in Italy, participants will both have a change to know about the Italian cuisine at first hand and learn Italian cuisine thoroughly by preparing the food with the help of expert cook at the exact place and with exact ingredients; hence, teachers' international cuisines qualifications will be enhanced. By taking pastry training in Austria, participants will have a change to make Austrian bread outstanding by its different taste and shape, various cookies, traditional Austrian pastries, confectionery, tarts and cakes by the help of experts; thus, their qualifications will enhance. Our participants' profile consists of volunteer teachers about the project of food and beverage departments of Vocational and Technical High Schools. Our project was prepared by a consortium. The reason why we prepared it with a consortium is to reach more masses and contribute its expansion across the country. Besides, minimization of the risks that are encountered in process management will be ensured by distributing the responsibilities among consortium members. In this project training will be in two EU schools . Four teachers from Unye Vocational and Technical High Schools, four teachers from Usküdar IMKB Vocational and Technical High Schools, four teachers from Törekent Vocational and Technical High Schools, in total 12 teachers will have a visit to Iscom Formazione Modena in Italy. Four teachers from Unye Vocational and Technical High Schools, 2 teachers from Besti Aydeniz Vocational and Technical High Schools, 2 teachers from Malatya Battalgazi Aslantepe Vocational and Technical High Schools in total 8 teachers will have a visit to Landesberufsschule Feldkirch, Austria. Our participants will have online language training beforehand and they will have an opportunity to put their grammatical knowledge into practice during the training. Thus, they will be able to speak English fluently and smoothly.Participants will learn more about European Culture, share their experience with students and help them enhance their intercultural communication skills. Making a project at an international level will contribute to our institute and teachers in terms of strengthening the social harmony in such a period in which social and cultural diversity increase day by day. Participants of the institutes taking pace in this project will be directly influenced by the outcome of the project. The outcomes acquired by the end of the generalization will be shared with our colleagues and it be ensured that they get benefit from the project indirectly. Additionally, these outcomes enhance our professional qualification and by sharing this knowledge and experience, students will be ensured to take the advantage of the project indirectly. Moreover, with the participation of teachers from our institution, it is aimed to create a more modern, dynamic and professional environment , to integrate good practices observed during the project and new methods into daily practices and to develop international qualifications of our institution.
