Our school presents a project that is based on long-term cooperation of our school and Austrian companies. Collaboration is supported by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Rohrbach , vocational schools in Mattighofen and those companies that work with us on this project . The basis of the project are four-to five-week internships of our students in Austrian companies. Content and form are similar to the organization of vocational training in Czech schools , pupils will carry out work tasks under the guidance of experienced Austrian instructors . Part of five weeks car mechanic´s internship we are planning for our two pupils is one week vocational course in workshops in vocational school in Mattighofen . This week is useful for our students to have the opportunity to meet with technical equipment with which they will work in the above- mentioned companies . The target group are students of second and third grade of branches car mechanic , bricklayer, plumber and fitter . The benefit of internships for students is the knowledge of new technologies and work processes , improving communication skills in a foreign language , acquiring self-confidence , knowledge about business culture in Austrian companies . In their spare time pupils will learn about the natural, cultural and technical sights and interesting places of Upper Austria and the daily life of our southern neighbors. In addition an internship will allow students to explore the local vocational training system unique to this country and the ability to use gained knowledge in their future work assignment. The internship will help participants to increase their chance in competition in European labor market . Internships will take place in Rohrbach, Altenfelden , Julbach , Ulrichsberg and Mattighofen . Start of placement is planned for April 2015 and expected to end in May of the same year . 7 students of engineering branches will be supported by one accompanying person who shall be present for the entire duration of the internship . The presence of this accompanying person is required considering lower age of interns. Other tasks include monitoring, mentoring and tutoring . Traineeships will be preceded by cultural , educational and language training. Outcome of the intership would be improving of vocational training level, student's language skills extension and work experience with new types of equipment and modern technologies at work. The impact of the project we see that our students will use their acquired experience, skills and contacts in their future career and in finding job in European labour market . The long-term benefit of this project is the contact and cooperation with foreign companies that will be willing to cooperate with our students after graduation.
