Students of Samuel Jurkovic Secondary Vocational School of Trade and Services in Bratislava will participate in the mobility project within The ERASMUS+ Programme.Their professional training during their studies is focused on gaining professional skills for carrying out the activities related to work in the field of trade and marketing.By participation in the project, we will provide our students with a more comprehensive professional education of higher quality which is above the standards of general curriculum set by the National Educational Program. New working environment in another European country creates opportunities for students to get to know new working practices, compare the differences in the system and work management, in customer services as well as in communication with customers. It will provide students with more flexible orientation and adaptation to new working conditions, improvement in their professional knowledge and skills, gaining work experience in another country.Students will be made to react flexibly and solve various unexpected situations with the aim to be helpful and to contribute to a customer′s complete satisfaction.A sense of empathy and tolerance is needed to attain this goal, as well as understanding of the culture and mentality of people in a host country which will broaden students′ horizons and improve their language skills.Traineeship participation will contribute to the improvement of students′ language skills, to their personality development, to the improvement of their school results and it will increase their ability to get a job and be successful at the European job market.The project is designed for the period of 12 months, July 2016 – Juny 2017.Traineeships are divided into 2 rounds, in the period of autumn 2016 and spring 2017. Traineeeship will be organized for a period of 4 weeks, 10 students will participate, accompanied by teaching staff. They will be responsible for integration of participants to the new social and professional environment, they will help to solve problematic situations and observe the advancement of professional training of participants according to work schedule.The Professional training will take place in the Czech Republic (autumn 2016/ and in the Malta /spring 2017). Based on a written contract with the cooperation organisations optimal conditions for gaining new experience in different fields of business and marketing activities will be created for our students. At the same time, they will appoint a contact person who will supervise the implementation of the work plan for participants and coordinate specific working activities in cooperation with our teachers. At the end of the traineeship, participants will get the Mobility - Europass and a certificate confirming their successful participation in the traineeship programme.
