Nowadays, a huge importance is placed on connecting the theory with practice. Students have gained sufficient amount of theoretical knowledge. However, they haven’t been able to obtain enough practical skills and experience. They miss the contact with practice and experience from the real working environment. For this reason, we’ve entered a cooperation with a partner from Czech Republic, that possesses extensive experience with organising traineeships abroad. Ten students and one teacher will attend traineeship in two dates.Objectives of the project are assessed in terms of benefits for the organization and benefits for the students.The school verifies the usefulness of the knowledge and skills of their students in an international environment. The project serves for the comparison of training provision and the needs of foreign companies. The use of the international instruments (ECVET) and school educational program will lead to the connection of theory and practice.Our students will gain new abilities, knowledge and skills in the fields of study. The performance of administrative tasks, customer communication and digital skills will be improved. They will learn to work in an international team, solve problems and propose new ideas. They will as well strengthen their self-confidence and gain new multicultural skills. Students, that have already attended a practice in Slovak companies will have the opportunity to compare and evaluate the Slovak environment and foreign companies.The project participants will be students in their 3rd and 4th year of study, studying the branches 6352 M – Commerce and Business and 6324 M – Management of regional tourism.As a part of the project, the chosen students will attend the traineeship in partner companies in Czech Republic. During the mentioned traineeship, they will carry out activities related to the content of their education. They will as well acquire new practical skills and gain experience. Students will learn to work in an international team, to solve problems and to propose ideas and outlets. The ability to compare and evaluate the Slovak and foreign business environment is eventually obtained.The results of the project will be used in the school educational program. Thanks to the arrangement of this international traineeship, we expect to increase an interest in learning, as well as to raise the profile of the school. The project will acquire new skills in project management throughout the whole project cycle. Participating teachers will prepare their students based on the requirements of our international partner and the education will be extended to the European dimension. We will enter a new cooperation with our partner organisation and with the employers in the Czech Republic through it as well.
