ROJECT SUMMARYThe project was stimulated by our partner school in the Czech Republic. As the students of this school have been attending the traineeships at our school for several years, we have decided to send our students to Czech Republic to enable them to reach the competences during the traineeship there. We appreciate our cooperation and mutual solidarity, possibility to have a chance for our students to recognize a school system of the other country and ways and methods of practical or theoretical education. The main goal of the project is to improve the level of key competences and skills having regard to their labour market relevance in using technologies which have not been available and equipped at our school yet. The next project goal is to monitor the level of plumbing and building trades in the given region and exploitation of this knowledge at the labour market.The project is focused on a mechanic of building and plumbing equipment vocation. The aim of the project is the participation of the 3rd grade students at the listed courses in the partner school in the Czech Republic which is economically and politically compared to Slovakia. There is no language barrier and this fact enables the transfer of knowledge or skills into the students´ home environment. Traineeship participants in a group of 14 students will take part in two course cycles of the key vocational activities: 1. Welding of plastic pipes for gas and water distribution.2. Soldering of copper joints - The project expected output is to obtain a certificate in soldering of copper joints.3. Solar panels supplying. The students will be in direct contact with the students of the partner school and during their activities they will cooperate with them and with practical teachers as well. For monitoring the level of plumbing and building trades in the region the Czech partner has planned and recommended excursions to companies and facilities involved in the project or focused on these vocations.Project expected output is knowledge and experience of students tending to rise their motivation to work in their chosen vocation, to find the best practical employment at the labour market and to stimulate lifelong learning.Project expected impact on our school is higher quality of work and activities for students´benefit and development of a mechanic of building and plumbing equipment vocation.Long term anticipated benefit is extending and using experience of project makers to take part in the international projects to initiate changes in modernization of vocational branches and having regard to their labour market relevance. The next long term anticipated benefit is reaching our organization strategic goal - To change a traditional school into the modern one.Mobility concerns also the employees who provide professional and organizing part.
