The project "French Studies - added value for a successful career"is initiated by The Secondary Vocational School of Economics, Administration and Service "Atanas Burov", Silistra. The main objective of the project is to provide students with training, coresponding to current economic conditions. High unemployment, a large number of students from various minority groups requires a new approach and mastering the European experience to work in a multicultural environment. Acquiring modern methods and approaches in language learning is one of the ways to achieve excellence in educational process. The school has two computer labs for the needs of language teaching, one of which is only for French, which suggests daily use of IT and increasing the qualification of the personnel, acquisition of new knowledge and skills. The main project activities are related to the utilization of modern methods and practices in language teaching to implement in the classes studying French language: • Improving the quality of educational activities through the use of European experience; • To increase the competence of personnel with participation in international training activities; • Introduction of new methods and ways of learning of digital competences; • Emphasizing the need for language learning . • Updating the knowledge of contemporary French and Francophone civilization . • Integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) and interactive whiteboard (IWB) in foreign language education; • Introduction to the characteristics of teaching French in various European schools and its certification; • Analyzing the characteristics of teaching a linguistic discipline in French Tourism in particular; Participants in the project "Teaching French - added value for a successful career" are teachers in French in The Secondary Vocational School of Economics, Administration and Service "Atanas Burov", Silistra who work in high school more than 15 years and taught French as a common first and second French language of the profession in the class "Tourism". We expect the participation of teachers in the training to help improve the quality of work by: • Integration of new technologies, especially interactive whiteboard (IWB) classes with training in French; • Providing tools for the promotion of French language and integrating European standards in education by involving students in international activities and competitions. The results will have an impact on: • Motivation and engagement of students using innovative approaches presented by trainers or shared experiences of the participants; • State exam results and specialty high interest in extracurricular French and presentation of curricular and extracurricular events; • Expanding international partnerships for the implementation of new European educational projects Erasmus +.
