The problem of addiction among young people is according to research of European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) from 2014 extremely high. Therefore, the European Commission and EU Member States must deal with prevention among young people, where we want to help as NGOs. Organisations, being part of this consortium are faced with the problem of addiction in our work with young people. Since young people are particularly vulnerable to experimenting and using different drugs, they must be well acquainted with different methods, how to resist peer pressure.The aim of the project is integration and cooperation with other organizations working or interested in the field of work with young people with the aim of preventing addiction, exchange of experience, formal education, care for a healthy lifestyle. The aim of the project is to exchange practical experiences and empower young people for their future work as volunteers in organizations.Participants in the project are young people from partners organizations in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Croatia and Slovenia, aged 18 to 30 years, who come from different backgrounds and have different experiences.The main activities of the project are getting to know the basics of addiction; organizations working in the field of direct acquaintance with the work of former addicts and the methods and techniques which can engage youth (sports, art), helping them for a healthy lifestyle.The main activities of the project were carried out according to the methods of informal learning such as role playing, recording, games, etc. in combination with individual work and work in groups.Short-term expected results of the project are: state of dependence on the local environment, exchange positive and negative experiences regarding learning, work practices, cultural behavior between partners. In the implementation of the project, involving various local and national organizations and all others who are associated with the theme in any way. Place of performance of the principal activity is midway between the eastern and western parts of Europe, so young people can meet in one place and get to know the wider cultural environment.The long-term plan that the experience gained with the implementation of the project will affect the way of working in the field of addiction affect the behavior and conduct of all the organizations involved at the local, national, intergovernmental and European level.
