Ô Arts, Citoyens! Let's Art Citizens!
Date du début: 17 juin 2014, Date de fin: 16 nov. 2014 PROJET  TERMINÉ

“O arts, citoyens!” is a youth exchange that tackles the theme of citizenship and the sharing of different geographical contexts of the participating countries. This project includes four countries: Denmark, Italy, Estonia and France (host). The exchange will take place at Stade Michelon in Marmande, under tents. The target group is young people between 13 and 17 years, 28 participants in total. The idea of the exchange was born because we are in rural areas with difficulties in access to culture and mobility but still a beautiful and exploitable panorama. We would like to open a window to the youngs on Europe and its differences (in terms of landscapes, cultures, traditions, costumes, etc..). For this, the purpose of this exchange is to promote the act of a European citizen overcoming the challenge of differences to act together in the local environment. Leave an imprint, a trace here and elsewhere. The objectives of the exchange 1 - Promote the involvement of young people living together, fostering intercultural dialogue, the meeting of different cultures. 2 - discover the diversity of environments, geographical contexts of each of the four countries involved. 3 - learn to act together as a European citizen, to realize artwork in local areas. 4- understand that we are change makers, and act for change together. 5- encourage the developemnet and acquisition of skills related to values 6 - make visible our work locally and give it a transnational dimension through the Mandela Day. All this will be possible through names games, energizers and sharing of everyday life that promotes group cohesion. The discovery of various local landscapes and cultures through creative presentations, dances, songs and tastings will highlight the non-formal education. This project promotes intercultural creative, artistic and reflective work in transnational teams. We will act in local landscapes to leave an impression and spread a message using natural elements, away from the superficiality that surrounds us. We will represent the values of sharing, solidarity and openness to the world through Nelson Mandela Day. This project will leave an impact on each participant who will live a unique adventure. We will be visible in the press locally and internationally through the internet. It will foster both participants and organisations.
