Nuevas iniciativas para el desarrollo personal y social de los agentes educativos
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The CEIP Gloria Fuertes Alzira is a multilingual school whose main characteristic is its experimental program. The program consists of learning a foreign language by 80% of the curriculum. In our case, the foreign language is English which is combined with the other two official languages (Valencian and Spanish) for a good communicative competence in our students. The teachers must have the B2 level both in Valencian and English. In our day to day is essential that both students and teachers are motivated to achieve the best results and we must keep abreast of all developments and research being carried out in Europe related to education. Consequently our perspective towards the future involves innovation and the continuous adaptation of methods of teaching and learning to improve educational practice. That is why we have asked again an Erasmus + project. The training areas selected for this project are: Teaching all areas through a foreign language and classroom management The use of creativity and play to increase motivation of students and teachers. Development of the digital competence (in students, teachers and families) Consequently our title includes them under the slogan: "New initiatives for personal and social development of teachers, students and parents." With these training courses and from the point of view of the students, we want to help them achieve the goals but mostly we try to improve the quality of the diversity treatment (social, linguistic and cultural) and prevent the school failure. From the perspective of teachers we wish to expand opportunities for professional development and thus their motivation and satisfaction with their daily work. Regarding the institution in general, our goal is to create a sense of modernization and internationalization of our center. This may be possible by the use of tools such as the eTwinning platform Erasmus + and cooperative work with other centers through a strategic partnership. Results will be shared by the participating teachers, first of all they will share the experiences and knowledge with the rest of the staff. These actions will be added to our PAF (Annual Training Programme) for 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 year. This year we are really lucky of developing an Erasmus + K1 project so we have been able to experience how the staff may be formed by these outreach activities. Furthermore, within our regular cooperation activities with the Cefires, we will make information and/or training sessions so that other teachers in the province can be formed on the topics discussed above. We also believe that the issues discussed in the training could be integrated into the Parents School (which has begun to be implemented this course) because after these mobilities we would have more ideas on how to work in other countries around learning languages, pupils' motivation, methodologies, policies on homework, extracurricular activities ... that could also be shared and applied in our environment. Finally, the mobilities would offer us the opportunity to find contacts with similar needs and our own motivations and therefore would be easier to start work on a common European major project. Therefore, 7 participants chosen from two educational levels (elementary and primary) conducted a training related to: -Teaching-Learning through a foreign language: English as the medium of instruction to get better results. -Management of the classroom: learning how to guide students through a foreign language and how to get good classroom atmosphere. Improvement of the social development and inclusion of students: how to intervene with students from the area of Physical Education to improve socialization, self-esteem ... -The role of creativity and play in learning and motivation of students and teachers: ideas for making the most fun and creative classes. -The development of digital competence: both students and teachers through the most appropriate and innovative technological applications. In conclusion, we need to improve the theory associated with these methodologies but mostly practice, creating resources, implementing new ideas .... and all thanks to the observation of some current classes abroad and the opinion of others teachers and experts with similar experiences to ours.
