The title of the project is „We do not learn for school, but for life, the change stands in us ourselves”, pursuing the training needs of teachers who can support certain categories of students and their families. The main objectives of this project come from the Institutional Development Plan and they are the following: - educational offer - adaptation to individual needs but also to the community ones, by stimulating the creative potential, intuitive and imaginative education for intercultural communication , education and development of aesthetic sensitivity . - providing equal opportunities and social inclusion of pupils from poor/disadvantaged families, single parents or children whose parents work abroad, pupils with an increased percentage of absenteeism, dropout, early school leaving. - supporting the access to education for children from disadvantaged and non-formal training information and their parents about the use of alternative non-violent family educational, encouraging children schooling in order to increase the chance to integrate into the labor market when they reach adulthood. - Increasing the role of family, preserving traditions and values that are also inherited characteristics that create equilibrium in a society where distortion trends are present everywhere, and the role of the school is crucial in knowing to bring students toward knowledge and their preservation and openness to intercultural communication . - transforming the school into a learning organization that fosters individual skills of students and teachers in a complex process of training by encouraging communication from both sides (Sideways communication) . In this regard the project proposes that 6 teachers from primary and secondary level to attend training courses in European institutions, covering several subject areas, with the desire to engage and transform the educational context, but they do not have enough means and methods of approach: -2 teachers to attend a training on issues related to fostering creativity and innovation in education, in this sense with an offer of an organization in Portugal ; -1 teacher is proposed to participate in a course which follows the theme of social inclusion and providing equal opportunities for disadvantaged pupils , with an offer topics of Malta ; -1 teacher will prepare for a topic related to promoting family values and traditional right offer comes also from Malta ; -2 teachers can acquire intercultural communication skills to a proposed placement of an institution in Greece. Skills to be developed : - linguistic opportunity to use English in the preparation and effective participation in the course; - competent, professional supplements work with children and parents from vulnerable groups and organizational skills of parenting classes ; - coping skills of transnational experiences in preventing and eradicating school dropout; - stimulate imagination, creativity and spirit of innovation needed to be applied in most areas of activity, with long-term results , considering the use of these skills in school orientation support to students ; - development attitude of dignity , overcoming complex belonging to an isolated rural area , with no potential for progress ; - increased confidence in their own abilities that they hold to propose and make decisions, to become leaders in the institution and community ; intercultural communication - skills by broadening cultural and intellectual horizons by interacting with elements of other cultures and civilizations , the development of skills in implementing local and national heritage ; Anticipated results : -6 Teachers direct beneficiaries will get specialized educational support in addressing specific issues that will be implemented in the institution and community ; - the rest of the teachers in the school will benefit from the information disseminated by the participants learn new knowledge and good practices ; - all students will benefit from creative - innovative methodological approach and practice the disciplines , designed to assist them in future educational and vocational guidance also will be inoculated by various means feeling of belonging to a place keeper value and resources we need to capitalize on it and make it align space European value through intercultural approach ; - vulnerable pupils benefit from counseling empowered techniques educational and social inclusion ; - Their parents will receive parenting training classes; Dissemination will be achieved at institutional, local, regional and national and international presentation materials, reports, articles, interviews, conferences, monitoring and evaluation will be made permanent, with different tools, with measurable results and long-term sustainability by improving teaching strategies and school orientation, awareness and promotion of local school integration.
