Nowoczesny Mechanik - praktyki dla uczniów Zespołu Szkół Mechanicznych w Świdnicy 3
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 31 août 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The key reason behind the project under the name of "Nowoczesny Mechanik - praktyki dla uczniów Zespołu Szkół Mechanicznych w Świdnicy 3" is the intention of ZSM to better meet the educational needs of our students and match the education we offer to the requirements they will face upon entering the labour market. In technological professions taught by our school the market is very dynamic due to rapid development and implementation of new technologies by numerous companies. That is why the practical component of vocational education is increasingly important. Potential employees are required to exhibit not only knowledge, but also specific skills related to using these new technologies. Moreover, it is important that employees continuously broaden and perfect their knowledge and skillsHaving the above considerations in mind, the overarching aim of the proposed project is to better prepare our students for work in their respective professions. Detailed aims are defined as follows:- providing students of ZSM access to high-quality practical component of the educational experience we offer, specifically to vocational internships;- creating conditions under which participants will develop active attitude toward education and work;- building students' competence with regard to foreign languages so as to prepare them for undertaking work in international companies;- from the institutional perspective, the aim of the project is to broaden and strengthen ZSM's cooperation with relevant industries.Due to their participation in the project, students will not only become more competitive on the labour market (by closing the so-called "competence gap" and developing foreign language competences), but will also become more aware of the need to continue vocational education on the life-long basis. The project will also enhance ZSM's position as a dynamic, modern educational institution that cooperates with employers and develops teaching content based on the requirements expressed by the labour market. The group of participants will comprise 36 students, of which 12 will be students learning the profession of a mechanic, 12 will be students learning to become car mechanics, and the remaining 12 will be students preparing to the profession of an IT specialist. The project will be addressed at students of III grade. The choice of participants will be made based on students' learning performance. The internships will take place in March 2017. Participants will undertake internship in Italy (Bologna). The internship programme will be in accordance with the requirements of the programme adopted by our school. However, it will also include certain more detailed elements, depending on the specific area of activities of the hosting companies, as well as the demands of a particular job position.
