Nowoczesne technologie uprawy roślin uwzględniające ochronę środowiska i bezpieczeństwo pracy
Date du début: 31 déc. 2015, Date de fin: 30 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project involves 17 students in each group and 2 tutors. Students will be recruited from the Technical School of Agricultural Engineering. These students will be selected from different classes, so that information about the project reaches a larger group of students. Moreover, it encourages them to receive better results at school in connection with the possibility to go on an internship abroad. Students participating in the project will be selected in terms of knowledge and skills in the construction and operation of machines and equipment. All acquire adequate preparation in the classroom at school, as well as practices. These students also work on their parents' farms where they perform a variety of work using different agricultural machinery and equipment including work related to protection of plants, sowing and harvesting. These are examples of the most complex work in agriculture which require proper execution, otherwise inappropriate protection or fertilization may not only improve the environment, but even destroy yields. We must admit that the student's professional experience is already at a fairly high level. Most of them will be looking for jobs in their profession or taking studies. The region, where the school is located, belongs to agricultural areas with high unemployment rate. The aim of the project is to improve skills and gain knowledge that make up the professional qualifications of graduates of our school. Students will have the opportunity to learn modern ways and methods of fertilization, ways of preparation and agrotechnical protection products, as well as learn about new equipment and machinery used for chemical plant protection and fertilization, and will be tought about their operation and maintenance. In the training program there will be also issue of constructional solutions of machines and devices that enable to increase yields, reduce the labor and at the same time be less destructive to the nature. In addition to the specific practical and theoretical skills participants become familiar with the new system of vocational education and training. In the future this may lead to standardization of methods of teaching in the countries of the European Union and the unification of all vocational qualifications - this can be done through this kind of training or retraining. A very important goal of the project is to learn about the culture of the neighboring country, its customs, organization of work and leisure. Germany is our most important trading partner. The project participants working later in the country will be able to take advantage of the country that leads in the modern technological solutions and training to improve their own farm or institution where the work will take. Classes in the farms and factories of agricultural equipment will allow the observation of the work organization and production in modern companies. Students will be able to see how German companies care about the safety and environmental protection. Experience gained during the practise abroad may be useful for future working in agriculture. Gained knowledge and skills students will be able to verify and exploit at school during practical classes and practices. Pupils will take the examination confirming their vocational qualifications. We are convinced that knowledge and skills acquired during the internship will definitely help them to sentence such a test. After graduating from high school, most graduates will be looking for a job, which in our region is quite difficult. The experience gained during the practice abroad, the appropriate certificate of training received, in particular, adequate knowledge and skills would certainly help them to find a job. Many of the participants are going to take over farms after their parents. Being a farmer is very difficult nowadays, and only usege of the latest solutions, technology, knowledge allows the proper functioning of the farms and appropriate safety and environmental protection. Acquisition of new knowledge, skills and habits in the use of modern techniques and technologies in the production process of cultivation of cereals and root crops in terms of safety and environmental protection can have a very important influence on the effectiveness in running a farm. The project will enable participants to improve their German language skills in speaking and writing. It will be important to master the terminology expertise in the field of agricultural technology, as well as in communicating with the client or the potential employer. The project is managed by the following people: T. Budzisz - a headmaster, a deputy director - A. Sakowicz and a German teacher M. Sówka.
