“NEW COMPETENCIES OF TEACHERS THE DRIVING FORCE OF SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT” project aims at finding modern ways of managing schools and educational projects, as well as establishing new tools and teaching and learning methods for students who use advanced information and communication technologies.9 school teachers will be involved in the project: 1 maths teacher, 3 early school education teachers, 2 Polish teachers, 1 art teacher and 2 English teachers. However, project work and spreading the results will see contribution of primary school teachers as well as students and parents.In the first year 9 teachers participating in the project will take part in language courses in order to improve their language skills. In the second year of the project, fluency in the foreign language will allow them to participate in methodological courses on modern ways of managing the school and educational projects, new tools, teaching and learning methods for students using advanced information and communication technologies.Skills gained in the training sessions will be passed on to other teachers in the school, to teachers representing other schools at methodological sessions, to parents at various workshops and used at interschool events such as European Language Day and eTwinning platform events. The school website will have a news service section “Erasmus Project”, which will include articles on mobility and useful methodological tips.The knowledge and skills gained as a result of the project will allow teachers to use the language fluently, equip them with new tools, and give innovative solutions in the teaching process. The use of information and communication technologies will makeclasses much more attractive, and equip students with new ways of getting information. Implementing new methods will have an impact on students’ motivation and their learning process. The project experience will improve teaching standards in the school and development of international cooperation.The workshops on the use of information and communication technologies in learning and learning techniques for parents will improve cooperation with the school and will help initiate joint action towards improving the quality of work and execution of the European Development Plan objections.
